5.0I had an amazing experience visiting Belle Isle Aquarium. It’s a beautiful, historic aquarium with a calm and relaxing atmosphere that makes it perfect for families, couples, or even a solo visit. The variety of fish and aquatic life is impressive, especially considering its rich history as one of the oldest aquariums in the country. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions and share interesting facts about the exhibits. Everything was well-maintained and clean, and the layout makes it easy to explore without feeling rushed. What I really loved is how peaceful it feels compared to bigger, crowded attractions. It’s not overly commercial, which makes the experience more authentic and enjoyable. A hidden gem in Detroit that’s definitely worth visiting again.
