The Great Wheel was an amazing experience. We went around 5 times and got to see amazing views of Seattle from up high! A bit pricey but definitely worth it. The views were impeccable. Tip: Go around 5pm, there is no crowd, no wait time and I think because of that they extend the Wheel time.
The Seattle Great Wheel was definitely worth it. It wasn’t too crowded when I went, although there was still a bit of a wait since each group gets more than one full rotation before the next people board. The views were incredible, especially in good weather, you get amazing views of the city and waterfront. Just keep in mind that if it’s rainy or cloudy, you probably won’t see as much. Overall, a really enjoyable experience.
The Seattle Great Wheel is a fun attraction and a great way to see the waterfront from above. The tickets are definitely a little expensive, but the experience was still enjoyable overall. The Ferris wheel moves faster than I expected, which made it a little intimidating at first. They let you go around three full times, so if you are afraid of heights, it can feel a bit challenging. The views of the city skyline and the water are absolutely beautiful, especially on a clear day. I also liked that the cabins were enclosed and air conditioned, which made the ride more comfortable. The ride felt smooth and safe the entire time. I would recommend trying it at least once if you are visiting Seattle and want a fun tourist experience.

Visiting the Seattle Great Wheel while Seattle was hosting World Cup matches was an unforgettable experience! The entire waterfront was buzzing with energy, with fans from around the world bringing excitement and a festive atmosphere to the city. Riding the Great Wheel gave us amazing views of Elliott Bay, the Seattle skyline, and all the activity along the waterfront. Even with the larger crowds, the staff kept things organized and friendly. Seeing the city come alive during such a major international event made the experience even more special. If you're in Seattle during a big sporting event, the Great Wheel is a perfect spot to take in the views and soak up the excitement. Highly recommend!
Was a fun ride with beautiful perspectives of the city and market area piers. It seems a little more expensive than it's worth. But I'm still glad I did it. It was on a weekend, however the wait to purchase tickets and board didn't seem that bad. The gondola was comfortable and A/C inside it worked well. Check for discounted rates on the website or in packages. I attached a pic of the in-person prices at the time of my visit (June 2026). If there's any other rides/experiences you're interested in while at this spot, I'd recommend thinking about the day pass or a package deal.
