I took my 2016 Jeep JKU to Brothers auto to have the spark plugs and oil changed. Sam did a great job and I’ve returned again to have more maintenance completed by him. I trust him. He is reliable and transparent. I recommend Brothers Auto Repair mechanics to anyone in the area.
***update...Response to Brothers. RE READ WHAT I WROTE..You did not show me the tires, other than in your "un lighted storage room"! You did NOT put tire in water to check for leaks! I said I drove 30 mins away, the next day! It was 7pm Friday night, I had to stop in Dundee, Mi to get air. You are a disgrace to small businesses and without a refund we will pursue legal action. I work too hard to lose money to unscrupulous business! I purchased 2 used tires on 10/2/25 from Brothers. What a joke. I headed north for the weekend (24hours later). After 30 mins of driving, I had to put air in one of the tires that was just put on. Aired up the tire and drove on. Got up the next morning to a completely flat tire!! Again, filled with air and took car to discount tire in Burton Mi. Tires were scanned..2/32 on tire that's flat and 3/32 on "good" one. They pointed out a crack in sidewall. "Not safe to repair". Im stranded in Flint, mi. Called my son in Toledo. He called Brothers and was told, "what you expect with used tires?" I expect them to last more than 24 hours!! I will NOT trust Sam/Brothers for anything ever again!! Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 109 and 139) and related safety rules that define a tire as unserviceable if it has 2/32” or less of tread depth anywhere on the tire. That means: > 🚫 It is illegal or unethical to sell, install, or advertise a tire that doesn’t meet the minimum safety standard. We have proof that the tire was only 2/32 tread depth on one tire and 3/32 on the other. All were asking for is a full refund. I'll remove my Google review and nothing more. If you don't want to go that route we will be pursuing legal action.

I went to another auto repair shop and was quoted $5,000 for my repair! It was absurd and they were trying to take advantage of me. I’m so glad I went to Sam. He was able to get my car all fixed up for only $195 and in 30 minutes same day. He even put air in my tires for me because he saw I needed it. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Sam is one of the best solo operated mechanics in the city! Every time I call he says bring vehicle right in and he gets the job done! Very reasonable and professional. Better than paying high way robbery at Belle tire where they wanted to charge me $1600 for brake pads! Sam is your guy for all your automotive needs come see on on Byrne road! He will get you in and out!
