I contracted with Zengel Construction because I was so impressed with the remodeling they performed at my son's house. They did not disappoint. They installed a sauna, new bathtub and bathtub surround, Kitchen cook top, vent and numerous other small renovations. They are prompt, consistent and have great attention to detail. Their team of Jim, Patrick, Jenna and Aaron was so easy to work with and pleasant to boot! I highly recommend them.
Fantastic Company to work with! From start to finish it was smooth sailing! Everyone working on this project were polite, hard working, efficient and clean. They went above and beyond! Doing extra things to finish the project beautifully. I am so pleased. I am missing everyone that worked out here. They were kind and respectful. Every day the job site was cleaned up as if no one was here I was amazed! Jim Z himself worked extra on the weekend and even after the sun went down I can’t say enough about all the workers on this job! And this company! I am beyond happy and I can’t wait to sit on my new front porch and enjoy it. It is beautiful!! My neighbors love it too! I have had neighbors text and call me and stop their cars to complement the work! 🥰🥰🥰

There aren't enough superlatives to describe how wonderful it was to work with Zengel Group on our project. When a disastrous experience with a different contractor left my wife and me with an unusable deck and roof that leaked and were out of code, Zengel was the only company willing to step up and fix the problem correctly. The redesign was completed, submitted, and approved quickly. Work was performed efficiently and carefully. Peter and Wesley were a great team. The work they do is really craftsmanship, and we appreciated their expert guidance throughout the project. We couldn't be happier with the results. In addition to the results, it was the process that made working with Zengel so pleasurable. They were in daily communication with us about what work was planned and completed. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day (including the bathroom we gave them permission to use!) and left an organized and safe worksite every evening. They turned our problem into perfection, and we can now relax and enjoy our outdoor space. Friends and family have commented that our new deck looks like a spa. We always recommend Zengel Group to family, friends, and colleagues looking for a contractor for indoor or outdoor remodeling.
We hired Zengel Group for their experience, the close connections they had with family and long-term friends in the building trades, and their reputation for disciplined project management. Our kitchen project was always more than just a new kitchen. A century of neglect meant our project revealed plenty of surprises along the way. The result was outstanding. The process was really good. The price was high. You get what you pay for. One caution would be that as the management of the project is significantly tighter than most other small construction projects, the opportunity to be nickeled and dimed increases. On projects that present unexpected challenges, cost overruns can easily rack up. From our experience, we feel you can trust Zengel not to exploit the opportunity, but the benefit that is sometimes shared by cushioned prices built into a complicated project is reduced with their methods. We believe this is fair and that Zengel does their best to mitigate potentially contentious situations and keep their costs as low as possible for the quality of work they provide. We have to mention Aaron Roberts and his crew. Aaron was on site everyday for months. Each day was full of careful attention to detail regardless of the challenge. He was thoughtful, responsible, and communicative. His craftsmanship easily eliminates any hesitation we would've had recommending Zengel Group for any small thing we might've found or might find as we get to know our new spaces. And if we find some small thing that isn't quite right, we know Aaron will be out as soon as he can to fix it.
Kerry and I could not be happier with how Zengel transformed our house into the home of our dreams. We both had high expectations going into our project and they outperformed those standards thru Covid-19 and all. From their organized upfront approach in utilizing Co-Construct to the ability to recognize, solve, and proceed on some of the unknown situations that come with any remodel project. The biggest expectation that blew us away was that every one of their employees and trade contractors were polite, clean, respectful, and most of all qualified to do the job. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. So to Jim, Connie, Patrick, Aaron, Rick, Jim, Jeff, Josh, and Marcus. THANK YOU !!
