I’ve been coming to Anytime Dentist in downtown Phoenix for years & they have been consistently amazing. Every visit reminds me why I continue to go back to them for my care. The team is kind & efficient. The office itself is spotless & the equipment seems very modern.I also really appreciate how easy they make scheduling. As someone who runs a busy solo law practice, being able to text the office instead of playing phone tag is incredibly helpful & they’re always quick to respond. I’ve even been able to get same-day appointments when I was dealing with tooth pain, which is priceless. I’ve seen comments about the surrounding corner, but it’s downtown…that’s just city life & not something the office controls. What they do control is the experience inside & it’s excellent. The location is actually super convenient, there’s garage parking that they validate (huge perk) & there’s great food right next door. My son literally looks forward to his post-cleaning treat. Professional, clean, modern & genuinely kind people. If you’re looking for a dental office that makes things easy & takes great care of you, this is it.
This place has declined over the years. The professionalism that is. One of the front desk ladies had an attitude with me after insisting I was told about a process for a procedure. Instead of simply telling me the process. She did this in front of my guy by the way. Initially I was sitting down and had asked another question. She condescendingly asked me to come up to the desk so maybe I could understand what she was saying. I told her my understanding was not the problem and neither is my hearing. She had a very bad attitude. I had asked her twice to use the rest room. The first time was fine but the toilet was slow like it didn't want to flush. I completely forgot to tell them because I was called at the back as soon as I finished. I guess she thought it was my fault when it ended stopped up. All I did was pee. So when I asked the second time to use the restroom while I waited for my guy to do his procedure, she was rude in response. Snotty. The bathroom is not working. I almost called her out on that. But by the end her attitude was nasty to my guy and I. He is observant and won't say a word until he is good and ready to speak up. But I will. I didnt call out her attitude yet, just the fact that we didnt not get an explanation of upcoming processes. She argued that the previous person told us. That is unprofessional. How will you tell that to us when you were not there? Even if you gave a patient info before, a better way is to remind them and go over that again with them just to cover yourself and to not make a patient leave with a bad review of your bad attitude. People like that will turn away patients and that girl is it. I forgot her name but whenever I return I will get it and post here. She was an outright bad attitude woman. Childish. Hopefully she adjust her attitude next time because I will call out her bad attitude.

The dentist gave my significant other a note advising him of her not being able to speak because of a sore throat. He showed me the note immediately after us leaving. He and I did our treatment in the room next to each other. Prior to his treatment, she came to me first and sat there not saying a word. I was not aware of her presence until the dental assistant told me she was there and ready and that's when her sore throat was mentioned. That was unprofessional of her to just sit there in silence behind me like that. I'm used to waiting a few minutes for the dentist to come so I always look at my phone. They usually announce themselves. She could have tapped me on the shoulder to get my attention or had the dental assistant notify me ahead of time so she wouldn't be so awkward. Maybe she got the idea to write a note to patients after me so that definitely makes sense. We did come early so it's possible we were her first patients for the day. We understand she may not have planned how to carry on that early with her condition. Sore throat sucks. And we understand sometimes we dont need to miss work something that simple depending on the nature of our job. My guy and I agreed that the dentist could have been a bit more professional in getting my attention. Do better next time.
If you want to avoid a messy and uncomfortable corner, this is the spot. The outside area linked to this business is often full of trash and debris, and it feels poorly maintained. On many occasions, I’ve encountered loud arguments or people yelling in this area, which makes it unpleasant to walk by. I wish the business would take more pride in their frontage and keep it cleaner, especially given its location downtown. It would make a big difference for those of us who walk through here daily. Update: Unfortunately, the situation hasn’t improved — it’s been getting worse lately, with loud arguments happening almost daily.
This is the only dentist that I was able to find that was willing to accommodate a same day new patient appointment. (Due to being in pain) Everyone in the office has been so helpful and so friendly. You never wait in the lobby for more than 5-10 minutes. If that. The office is always clean and smells great. And they validate parking. Thank you Anytime Dental!
