Harbor Lighthouse Grille

We had such a great experience at Harbor Lighthouse Grill on Portage Lakes! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, and being right on the water made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Our server, Niko, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made some fantastic recommendations. And if you go, do yourself a favor and order the pickle bombs—they were AMAZING! Great food, great service, and an unbeatable waterfront setting. 10/10 recommend!

First off: this place has literally one of the best burgers, and is now in my top 3 places to get a gourmet burger. The cove Burger was delicious and literally had just the right amount of everything; the right amount of toppings, doneness, juiciness and flavor. Plus, you can't beat the price. The beers are also decently priced, not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive either. That being said, I'd like to see a slightly expanded drink menu as it was very limited. While the servers were very personable, I do have a gripe. I would recommend focusing on the small details, that are still crucial to the dining experience. Example: We were not given straws, even with a mixed drink (bucket) that requires one in order to drink it. No cutlery was provided when some of us had dishes that required it. No condiments were provided for the fries, etc and we also had to request that. The bartenders didn't put a lime in the Corona. All of which, required us to ask the server for, causing a hassle for both us and the server. These small details would have made this a full 5 star rating. The atmosphere was phenomenal. This is located in such a great spot, being right on the lake. There's plenty of seating, and they allow dogs on the patio. Overall, I had a great experience, enjoyed the food, and plan on being back soon.
