Trevon came out and checked out the AC unit. He diagnosed the problem quickly and advised me what parts were needed. Once the ordered parts arrived,the unit was fixed properly. That's why I always rely on Dormar for all my HVAC services.
Brad is the man! Very personable and professional. Not only found the problem quickly but instructed me on how to maintain my system between services. I'll recommend Dormar not only for the service they provide, but because of techs like Brad and their arsenal of service technicians.
Paid $2400 for a job that was done by an handyman. Handyman charged $650. / Columbia gas said new furnace line was checked and approved. Handyman not certified by city. Had to find someone who could request permit. This company came , mind you everything was already done.replaced 2 or 3 panels , done that to make sure all was well and charged $2,400 for a job already done. Just for the permit. Word to the wise

Not sure if the wires are supposed to be hanging out after a brand new install of the air handler. The heat pump looks great from what I can tell but I’m not a professional. Otherwise 4 stars for now until I hear back from an install manager. The initial tech that came out was super informative and helped us get the right system without trying to upsell us. The install techs were quick and were polite HVAC is now working and wife is happy.
While visiting the barn in York a few days ago, I happened to notice a Dor-Mar employee casually drinking a beer during what appeared to be a lunch break. While I understand that everyone is entitled to a break, seeing an employee consuming alcohol—especially while representing the company and in proximity to a company vehicle—struck me as highly unprofessional. It raises serious concerns about safety and company standards. I hope Dor-Mar takes situations like this seriously and holds their team to higher expectations moving forward. Do better guys, this is ridiculous, I read through some of the other reviews and everything kinda makes sense!
