The room I booked was in a great location. It was affordable, clean, and exactly as advertised. It was a great, comfortable stay for me for a few days while I was in town for a conference and saved my a lot of money. The issue I had with the place was the shower. The shower in my rented apartment was one of the worst showers I have ever experienced in a first world country. The pressure was so incredibly weak, that I would have been better off just washing myself with the sink water and some handsoap. The water also did not come out of about 50% of the holes in the shower head. I ended up only using the shower one time in my 3 night stay, so I felt pretty gross by the time I went home. When I brought this issue to the attention of Stay Pittsburgh, I was told they were going to look into it, but I never received a follow-up nor did they fix the shower at any point in my stay. If the shower issue had not been a problem, or had been resolved at all, I would've given this place 5 stars because it really was a better alternative to the hotel I was originally considering. Ultimately, I felt ignored and dismissed for bringing up what I consider to be a pretty core problem, as opposed to something like a busted light or something one could easily ignore.
The price seemed too good to be true but I decided to give this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how great my stay was! Management was very responsive and I had a smooth check in and check out process. The location is perfect- I was able to walk pretty much everywhere I needed to be, and was close to a bus stop for anywhere I couldn’t walk to. Public areas and the room were very clean. The room itself is nothing fancy but it gets the job done. It even has a full sized fridge and oven. The only downside is that the walls are thin. Personally I did not mind this at all, but if you are a light sleeper/sensitive to noise I would keep that in mind.

We absolutely loved the apartment. It was clean and well taken care of. We felt safe the whole time we were there. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The host was awesome at getting us all the information we needed ahead of time.
StayPGH, one of the best stays Ive had in PGH! Check in with simple and easy. Being able to respond with my issues by text message has been crucial and resolved losing my wallet and phone. Just replaced. Thank you STAYPGH, cozy, quiet, unique, close to point Park, a bed to melt in, full fridge, across the street with target a ten minute walk from target, and QUIET!!!!! My absolute favorite place to stay in PA. WILL SHARE, WILL BOOK AGAIN
Just recently stayed here for two nights. My dad and I were in town for the Steelers game. The space was just as described online, no hidden surprises. We were on the 4th floor w/o elevators so that might bothered some depending on fit level. Parking garage was across the street which was very convenient. The location was perfect kind of quiet and about a mile walk to stadium. There’s a Target and Burlington about a 2 blocks away which was convenient. Love the area. Coming into the building the Smoking smell wasn’t pleasant and not sure if someone was smoking prior. Our apartment smelled good! Remember it’s not a modern living space but a little older so if you extremely OCD it might work for you. The living room could sleep another person or a couple and it has a door for privacy. The bathroom was big and roomy. I would definitely stay there again. The price was reasonable. The service instructions were on point for building entry and responded quickly.
