Drain Doctor

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Drain Doctor. I called them out to hydro clean my main sewer line due to a continuous backup issue. The technician quoted me $500, which I felt was excessive, and I ended up negotiating the price down to $300. Unfortunately, the work was never properly completed. I continued to experience backups after the service, and I ultimately had to hire another company Able Plumbing to fix the issue. They confirmed that my sewer line had never been fully cleared, despite being told by the Drain Doctor technician that the problem was resolved. In addition, the visit appears to have caused unnecessary water usage, as my water bill increased significantly afterward. From my perspective, the only thing accomplished was filling the technician’s equipment (water reservoir) for the next job, not fixing my problem. To their credit, the company did offer to come back out, but they sent the same technician, who insisted again that the line was not clogged, even though it clearly was. This was very frustrating and did not resolve the issue. At this point, my main concern is not just the poor service, but the lack of proper diagnosis and follow-through. I strongly recommend better training and real-time coaching for technicians to ensure customers receive accurate assessments and completed work the first time. Thankfully, Able Plumbing was able to correct the issue.
