Friendly staff. Right off the freeway easy to get into. Has a little store to grab what you need. Room was comfortable. When we had an issue with the A/C they fixed it within thw hour. I would definitely stay here again.
Our family stayed at Candlewood Suites, where the hotel offered an apartment-like room with two beds—one in the living area and one in a private room. The bathroom's large opening led to a warm and spacious tub was even roomier than ours at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, mugs, a coffee machine, microwave, stove, and dishwasher. Our room (328) featured exceptionally comfortable beds, and the candle-like scent and Christmas decor in the lobby made the atmosphere festive. The pool in the courtyard was closed for the season, but they also provided a small gym and convenience store. The front desk staff provided helpful guidance during check-in, and checkout was simple. The hotel's affordable location near Dallas attractions made exploring easy, and the checkout at noon let us enjoy a relaxed Christmas morning. After leaving, the hotel refunded the $50 deposit, and our bank statement showed charges for only the room and tax. The mix of comfort, convenience, and holiday charm made this our family's go-to hotel for future stays. Five stars for Candlewood Suites.

Brought up to the front desk person that the all 4 HDMI ports between the bedroom TV and living room TV in room 142 don't work with any of my cables or devices. Naturally, they explained how to use the input function for the remote. Eventually they agreed to send a technician to inspect the 15 year old tvs (model is from 2011). Plumbing for the toilet is noisy and needs service as it's always filling. Mentioned that I skewered and flushed an adult cockroach in the hallway outside my door. Other than a look a revulsion I didn't get much of an apology. 2 stars between the plumbing issues, TV connectivity problems, and insect presence. Not a great area either. Glad I reacted in time for the homeless man that jumped in front of my work van under the overpass nearby when leaving for the nearest grocery store 13 minutes NE of hotel tonight. Only reason I stayed two nights (and rated 2 stars) is the routine heavy cop presence in the area and the two cameras I parked under in the back. Although I just read another reviewer had mentioned their catalytic converter was stolen from their vehicle and staff refused to do anything about it. I'll be relocating. P4A. She was well fed yet a fast and challenging target to dispatch. Least favorite staybridge. Carpeted and dated rooms. Shower water pressure gets 10/5 stars! You're welcome for my candid review fellas.
We needed a hotel close to UTSW due to an early morning surgery, but we needed a handicap accessible room. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make sure that the rooms given to us fit what we needed. We had a bit of an emergency, and I called the front desk to ask for the number to a close by fire department to do a lift assist. Derrick, the clerk at the time, said he would come up to help. He assisted me with getting my dad up off of the floor and into the bed. This was WELL ABOVE his call of duty or the scope of his job!! I made sure to let management know as well. We would have had to wait on the fire department or EMS to come help if it wasn't for him.
Overall ok great staff. Grounds need to be better maintained. Dead Trees and bushes need to be removed the perimeter fences are in serious disrepair. Rooms need some updates. Floors in bathroom and kitchen need to be maintained and cleaned better. The towel rack is heavily rusted bent and coming off the wall. The bathroom door has extensive water damage. The shower valve does not shut off and runs constantly. The elevator needs to be maintained better. there are no visible floor numbers inside the elevator. The elevator jumps and bounces at least 2 " when reaching floors. There was no inspection certificate in or near the elevator as required by texas law.
