Never in my life have I encountered a more rude and unprofessional establishment. After paying thousands of dollars for my dental treatment, I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and how my care was managed. It feels as though this practice prioritizes quantity over quality, leaving patients without the level of attention and service they deserve. Additionally, the orthodontic office is only open two days a week, and there is little to no communication when office hours change, making it difficult to schedule appointments or receive consistent follow-up care. For the amount I invested, I expected professionalism, reliable communication, and a genuine commitment to patient care. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations.
WARNING: this place could lead to bigger dental damage I had a very poor and frustrating experience at this dental office, and I would strongly caution others before getting treatment here. From the very beginning, the exam felt rushed and not properly evaluated. I was quickly told I needed multiple procedures (three fillings and a root canal), but there was little explanation or careful assessment. At my next appointment, I was charged upfront for three fillings. However, once I was taken back, I was told they would only complete two because they “don’t work on both sides of the mouth at once.” This makes no sense — if that was the case, why was I charged for all three in advance? The appointment itself was extremely disorganized. I was numbed before the procedure was even ready, and then left waiting for about 30 minutes because the tools were still being cleaned. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of basic preparation and respect for the patient. The worst part is the actual treatment quality. After the fillings, I had severe, ongoing pain for weeks. I could not eat on that side at all — even soft foods caused intense pain. When I contacted them, they prescribed antibiotics and ibuprofen, which did absolutely nothing. When I returned, they again tried to “adjust” the filling without properly evaluating the issue. Only after I pushed back did the dentist quickly glance at the X-ray and admit that decay had not been fully removed the first time. This means the initial procedure was not done correctly. They redid the filling, but even after that, I am still experiencing significant pain and sensitivity. At this point, I have completely lost confidence in their ability to properly diagnose or treat dental issues. Overall, this experience felt rushed, careless, and poorly managed from start to finish. Between the incorrect initial treatment, lack of proper evaluation, questionable billing, and ongoing pain, this has been an extremely stressful and frustrating situation. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else for a second opinion before trusting this office with your dental care.

As for Orthodontics.. this practice cannot retain a doctor long enough to complete a treatment plan. I am approaching 3 years with braces and 3 different doctors. Yesterday I arrived and was told my treatment would proceed without doctor present. I am sure this is a violation of medical practice but it surely was a waste of my time and money. Per my research: “ Georgia specifically allows assistants to perform certain orthodontic tasks-such as placing or removing separators, removing ligatures and archwires, seating pre-selected archwires, and recementing certain loose bands-but these delegated duties are authorized only under that direct supervision requirement. So if an orthodontic office is: • Adjusting braces, • Bonding brackets, • Reattaching attachments, • Using dental handpieces in a patient's mouth, • Performing other orthodontic procedures, while the orthodontist is out of the office, that may raise serious scope-of-practice and supervision issues under Georgia law.” Do not receive treatment here. The office staff is another issue. They lie, misinform you about staffing and are unpleasant to work with. I will not move forward with this practice who continues to cancel my appointments but charge $50 if you do!
Dr Johnson was thorough. I didn’t even feel when he numbed my mouth. The rest of the staff was extra cool as well, except Dr. Diamond. She is mean. I will not give everyone else a bad rating because of her. BUT I truly hope I never see her again in life. I don’t care if it’s an emergency. I can wait.
This was one of the most traumatizing and worst dental experiences I have ever had. I came in for my annual teeth cleaning and routine checkup. My initial cleaning was great. The hygienist was kind, professional, and cleaned my teeth very well. My dentist seemed nice during the exam, but I noticed that whenever I asked questions about my treatment or care, I was directed to the financial team instead of receiving answers directly from the dentist. I thought that was unusual, but it did not bother me at the time. When I returned for my fillings with Dr. Johnson, I agreed to have the fillings completed on the right side of my mouth. He came in, did not say much, and simply told me he was going to numb the area. I received five syringes of anesthetic on the right side of my mouth. Not only were the injections extremely painful, but I became numb from my eye socket all the way down to my collarbone. I was scared and immediately told Dr. Johnson that something did not feel right. He quickly responded that it was normal and proceeded with the fillings. The fillings on my upper teeth were fine. However, when he started working on my lower teeth, I immediately felt intense pain. I knew something was wrong and knew a nerve had been hit. I repeatedly gestured for him to stop. Although he briefly paused, he continued working. I told him it hurt, but he continued with the procedure. When the appointment was over, I wanted to leave as quickly as possible, but I knew I would have to come back to have my bite adjusted because I was too numb to tell whether it was correct. I did not regain feeling in my mouth and face until the following morning. The numbness was so severe that one side of my face appeared drooped, almost as if I had suffered a mild stroke. My mother which is a doctor herself was very concerned about the care I recieved and told me that was not normal. About a week later, I returned because I was still experiencing excruciating pain. I explained everything to Dr. Johnson. He adjusted my bite and took an X ray, but he did not explain what he saw or answer any of my questions. He was dismissive, and seemed offended that I was asking about my pain. His assistant was also rude and appeared irritated that I wanted to understand why I was still experiencing severe pain in my tooth and jaw. The pain became so intense that I had to see my primary care physician, who prescribed medication to help manage the nerve pain. I also went to an oral surgeon because my primary doctor was concerned about permanent damage to my mouth and jaw. I was told that nerve injuries can sometimes take months or even years to heal. I have never had a dental experience like this in my life. What should have been a routine filling has resulted in ongoing pain, additional medical appointments, anxiety, and uncertainty. Patients deserve to have their pain taken seriously, to have their questions answered, and to be treated with compassion and respect. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. 0 out of 10.
