This hotel was much more than I was expecting based on location. Now the location is not the best in Portland. However it is a convenient spot for a hotel that needs to be close to PDX. The entry of the hotel is extremely nice. The staff has all been very friendly. The graveyard front desk employee was very kind and even just spending a few minutes of her time swapping stories is something she did. But is very uncommon due to how much work they have to do. So that was something nice. The breakfast was free and much more than what I would expect for something free. The hallways look out dated but the nice you get to the room you walk into a spacious room very clean nice furniture to sit on bed is very comfortable which is something I rarely say. Overall this is a great hotel they do great keeping the riff raft out. But the location is the only down fall I experienced.
My stay here was good and I would stay again. It's easy to get to from the freeway and nice that it's near PDX. The room was clean and a good size. The breakfast was basic but good enough for us. We also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The building was secure with all doors requiring a key card for entry. The price was good and the hotel met expectations accordingly. I do want to note the homeless population in the area. Several people approached us in the parking lot asking for things. Also, I'm not sure if there are emergency services nearby, but I noticed a lot of sirens at all hours. There are also trains that go by very near the hotel. This place may not be for you if you are a very light sleeper.

All the staff were super nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the basics but enough. We had one issue with the room which was quickly resolved ( no shower curtain). Just down the road was a great mexican food truck. The only downside of the room was the enormous number of very sketch looking people who were milling about the outside. They were not able to get into the building but we did worry about the safely of our car.
Just a few minutes away from PDX and while it isn't anything fancy the room was clean, lots of parking and the any workers we met were super nice. Plus free bfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, potato wedges, various bakery items to include biscuits and gravy, their famous waffles and cereal offerings. Room had coffee maker, refrig and a good sized TV. The entrance requires being buzzed in or use of your hotel key card at all times which I find great.
