Excellent bed and breakfast north of Chicago. We stayed in the English room which was very charming and quiet. The building has quiet hours starting at 10 which are strictly enforced. The room came with free breakfast and parking which is rare for the city. The breakfast was very good with a waffle machine, many cereals, yogurt, peanut butter toast, and local coffee available. This place is situated in a nice area with shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Overall an excellent stay with very affordable prices in Chicago.
Outstanding. We booked three nights over Thanksgiving and it was affordable and painless. Check in was a breeze. The room was perfect. DO NOT EXPECT THIS TO BE A HOTEL ROOM because it is not. This is an affordable hostel in a historic Chicago house in the Northalsted neighborhood. It was warm. The bed is comfy. It was quiet. The coffee is good. Neighbors were neighborly. The bathroom in our room was surprisingly huge. You will be right across the street from Hydrate, down the road from Roscoe’s (if you want to pay a $10 cover to pay for $10 beers) and Sidetrack. The red line train is right up on Addison, about a half mile walk. $2.50 gets you the gambit of the entire city. We ended up having a great mini-vacation in beautiful Chicago. We hope to be back this summer again!

Villa Tuscana is a warm and welcoming funky little B&B. Each room has its own personality. Some have private bathrooms others not location is great. Street side rooms can be a little noisy but they provide white noise machines. Breakfast is self serve and abundant. I am a big fan!
This is a beautiful place! I love it! It is close to the train station just couple blocks. The room was cozy and clean! There was a little noise from upstairs but not too bad. The kitchen was beautiful and breakfast time was my favorite they even have waffles mix ready in the fridge just to put it in the waffle maker!!! I loved it… If I have to go back to Chicago I will pick this place hundreds times….❤️ thank you for everything.
Such a great stay! Great communication and service. Self check-in was very easy and detailed. I was very comfortable during my stay. This is a great location with lots to see, do and eat. Will definitely be back for future trips! Edit: came back the following week and had the same great experience! I was in a different room with shared bathroom my second stay, but it was not an issue at all. I have already recommended to friends for future stays!
