used Homer for a full second floor reno, two bedrooms turned into a primary suite with a new bath. project ran about ten weeks which is what they told us up front. the PM checked in basically every other day, either in person or a quick text with photos if i wasnt around. that alone was worth a lot. demo was the messiest part obviously but they sealed off the staircase and kept the downstairs livable the whole time. framing went up fast, electrical and plumbing took a bit longer because they found some old knob and tube they recommended pulling while the walls were open. agreed to that and glad we did. theres no shortage of contractors in Chicago but a lot of them dont return calls or ghost you mid project. these guys did the opposite. finished punch list in one day, no dragging it out for weeks

We had a major issue with our foundation and a leaking basement wall in Chicago. Homer Home Builders came out and explained exactly what needed to happen to fix the structural integrity. The relief of having a dry basement now is huge. They were very professional throughout the entire process.
