I really enjoyed my visit to The Hampton Social in downtown Dallas! I happened to stop in during happy hour, which was perfect because I was looking for something light. I sat at the bar, and the service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to helping me decide on a drink and a few things to eat. It was pretty slow while I was there, so I also got to chat with them a little bit, which made for a really nice experience. They were actually the ones who told me about some of the other events and things they have going on throughout the week. I tried the fresh oysters from the happy hour menu along with the crab stack, and both were really good. I also tried the guacamole, which had corn mixed in, and I really liked that addition. For my drink, I ordered a light and refreshing cocktail that had little lychee-flavored flavor pockets in it. I’m not exactly sure what they were called, but they were so good and made the drink really unique! Later in the evening, they had live music, and I even got the chance to meet the singer, Zoe. She was really great! The band played a nice variety of music and added such a fun atmosphere to the evening. The Hampton Social has three levels, although only the first level was open during my visit. The staff told me about their Friday night R&B-style social on the rooftop, which definitely sounds like something I want to come back and experience. Overall, such a cute and lively spot with great service, good food and drinks, live music, and a really nice atmosphere. I’d love to come back for dinner next time and check out the rooftop. I will definitely be returning!

Honestly, this place surprised me in the best way 🔥 Every single dish was amazing! The burger was super soft and flavorful, the steak was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible 🤤 And the creamy pasta… absolutely addictive! 😮🔥 The truffle fries were next level crispy, flavorful, and so good! 😍 Even the regular fries were perfectly done 👌 Also, a big thank you to Sam he was incredibly kind, attentive, and so sweet with us and the kids. Truly made the experience even better 🙌 Definitely a place I’d come back to again and again!
My cousin and I decided to meet up at this spot on Friday for Happy Hour and overall we had a great time catching up. Pros: - Beautiful upscale decor and vibe - Decent happy hour food specials - Food was delicious - lobster roll and Brussels sprouts - both a must try Cons: - Hard to find parking and the restaurant does not validate - Service was OK, our server kept circling and hovering over us as if to rush us off, not because he was providing amazing service. I could understand if it was busy but it wasn't, there were several empty tables around us. At one point he just brought our check and dropped it on the table, which was off putting. - Apparently there was a $4 upcharge for choosing fries instead of chips with the lobster roll but that was never shared. I would have still done it but I prefer servers let you know when there is an uncharge. The lobster roll was $39 and in my opinion at that price point it should include the option to choose fries at no upcharge. - Lastly, this restaurant adds a mandatory 18% gratuity for all party sizes and suggests additional gratuity as well. This is always a major turn off for me because a tip is earned through great service not demanded or required. I have a problem with restaurants that don't pay their staff a liveable wage and then force that cost on the consumer that is already paying high prices for their food. My husband and I are regular tippers and tip according to the service received, I find when tip is included the service is poor or mediocre. I may go back for the food but not top on my list to revisit.
Absolutely loved my experience at The Hampton Social! The atmosphere is beautiful, stylish, and has the perfect coastal vibe. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and every dish exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The service was outstanding, and the entire restaurant was clean, vibrant, and well organized. Whether you’re coming for brunch, dinner, or drinks, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I can’t wait to come back!
Amazing service!!! Great place and the good was wonderful but beyond the great food the service was Bar none. It was hot outside and our waitress made sure to move us to a shaded area, turn on the fans to high, consistently refilled out water and ensured we were comfortable. She even suggested our entrees and went above and beyond to get the chef to assist with food items that were sold out to ensure we had the best experience. Not only will I come back but I will ensure to recommend to everyone I know. Our servers name was Porshala!!!! Always request her for the best service!
