We had an incredible experience working with Edwin on the full renovation of our 1910 historic home. This was not a simple remodel — the house was taken down to the studs, with everything replaced including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, wiring, plumbing, deck, and landscaping. What truly sets Edwin apart is his ability to blend modern construction with historical character. He transformed the home into what feels like a brand-new house, while still preserving the original charm and integrity that make it special. The project was completed within budget, which we really appreciated. While there were a few delays along the way, they were related to county permits and completely outside of Edwin’s control. Throughout the process, he remained professional, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality work. If you’re looking for a contractor who can handle complex renovations — especially historic homes — and deliver outstanding results, I highly recommend Edwin.
Edwin and his team at Ground Up Construction were extremely professional and responsive, and great to work with. They did an excellent job building a set of two offices in our backyard. The space turned out exactly as we had hoped and we would very much recommend them to anyone looking for help with a renovation or addition!

Edwin and his team rebuilt our deck, including some design changes. He had a very good grasp of what needed to be done and how to do it. My husband who is a retired general contractor was impressed with Edwin and his team. Edwin is knowledgeable, professional, and did a good job communicating with us and with his team. His team cleaned the job site at the end of each day. They finished on time and on budget. We love our new deck and are happy to recommend Ground Up Construction.
We had an excellent experience .They were always on time, professional and very respectful. The paint blends perfectly, and the small fixes in the wall’s were done carefully and correctly the first time. They worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for high quality , reliable work and will definitely be using them again in the future . A company that you can definitely trust 💯!
Wow, Edwin and Gerson are two of the best guys out there - great people who are great at what they do. Their team did a renovation on my entire house and we became friends in the process bc they are so easy-going and kind and offered tons of advice when needed. They are HONEST and fair and can do literally everything. They are crazy hard-working and finished at least a month EARLIER than expected, with absolutely beautiful work. They went above and beyond over and over for us - to help us save money with deliveries, helping us pack, even looking after my puppy a few times! If something wasn't exactly right they made sure to fix it, and have even come back a couple of times after to repair or replace small things and make sure their work is perfect. They have no quit. These guys came out in the middle of a storm to patch our roof when a branch fell on our house, and then worked with our insurance company to make sure we got the best care and saved money. I cannot say enough good things about Ground Up - I have recommended them to do work for family and close friends who have been just as impressed and grateful. You will not find better service, care, hard-work, and attention to detail from any other company! A few photos added, but I can't show how drastically they transformed my house inside and out! These guys are the absolute best!
