Not only is John a good guy, but he's a pretty damm good plumber. He's done work for us a couple of times over a couple of years on an older home. Latest was to repair a crimped gas line to hot water heater. See the before and after pictures below. Did a good job and made it much better than what was there before. Prior work was below house repairing water & drain lines. Really nice work AND he brought his brother along that day and they repaired a flexible duct for us. The heat worked SO much better after that. Above and beyond, in my book. I would not hesitate to call when we need plumbing help again. Call / email / Insta / whatever . . . . and John'll get right back to you.
John does excellent work, replaced plumbing, toilet and vanity for a bathroom remodel. Recently called him out to replace a cracked gas control thermostat valve that somehow got cracked. John took the initiative to call and order the part for me and promptly returned for the install. I am always very satisfied with his knowledge and professionalism.

I have had a highly satisfactory experience with Mr. Ritchie. I coordinate facilities operations for one of the oldest credit unions in North Carolina. On every occasion that we have utilized this plumber's services, we have received a prompt response and tremendous attention to detail. One thing I particularly appreciate is that Ritchie offers alternatives that fit your budget; you can tell that he does this out of a genuine desire to satisfy the client, rather than pressuring them to spend unnecessarily. The installations and repairs he has performed for us have continued to function excellently. I recommend Richie Plumbing for the high quality of his service and his personal attention. Hey guys John Ritchie Plumbing is great to use , and is customer oriented. He told me he would be on site at a certain date and time and was on time no issues . We had all of our toilets replaced and cleaned with all new faucet and shower fixtures and changed septic tank filters . He is highly skilled and walked me through the whole process . I wanted to have additional services with all my drains cleaned and pipes snaked he come back and did service with no issues . The best thing is his finished work is excellent and the pricing is great no additional up charges quote was what I paid . Will use him again and thinking using for future use at my business
John is a great guy. Honest, and very professional. He's often the first plumber I call whenever I have an issue, because I trust his assessment and his work. I've never had to call him back after he's completed a job. His rates appear to be fair, but you get what you pay for. I have no regrets paying his invoice because he stands by his work, and I appreciate that.
