Beautiful restaurant on the inside. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My boyfriend and I started off the night with a glass of wine. He got a Cab and I got a Moscato. Both were very good and well paired with our meals. For our appetizer we got the Calamari. It was very light and flavorful. Its was lightly fried in Rice Flour so it was actually Gluten Free. I have not been able to find Calamari Ina Gluten Free version anywhere so it was nice. I got the Strip Steak with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and house made Tater Tots. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. As for the tots and the potatoes not too much flavor there but there was some kind of jelly next to the steak and that made the flavor much better. My boyfriend got the Seafood Tasting and was super upset because they ran out of the Chilean Sea Bass and he was really looking forward to it. They did allow substitutes for that and the crab cake since it was not gluten free. All in all I think the restaurant was pretty satisfactory. I would rate a 7/10. It didnt wow me but it was nice to have Gluten Free Calamari and they did have a nice wine list and at the end they gave us a chocolate that was peanut butter and dark chocolate. It was yummy.
We went here a couple of weeks ago for our anniversary. The atmosphere inside was so warm and welcoming. The winter decorations were charming. We had the gemelli and the seafood tasting. The meat was very tender and flavor was great. We had the brown butter crème brûlée for dessert. The dessert was fantastic. My only complaint would be that when the waiter took my card for payment he came back and said that it declined. This was shocking as I knew that couldn’t be right, and embarrassing. I used another card and paid, assuming there must have been an issue reading the chip, and I would check it later. Walking home, I pulled out my phone and had a notification from my bank. It stated that my card was declined due to the wrong cvv being entered. I understand mistakes happen but this really put a damper on the experience and was pretty embarrassing. I would just advise that they be more careful and detail oriented when running people’s payment. Overall, good food. Just a bit lacking in service for my experience.

What a wonderful dinner. The service was superb, the waitress explained each of the dishes, very attentive. Food arrived timely. Ordered the short rib and seafood tasting. Both were excellent. Had the crab cake as an appetizer which was also magnificent. And to top it off we had the Eleven Grand Candy Bar. I would highly recommend.
Unable to get reservations days in advance, instead we arrived early (5PM) and were easily able to get a nice table for six. While a smaller restaurant it was a popular spot so not quiet but conversation was still easy. Plenty of staff and very attentive to our needs. Food all looked wonderful. Started with some nice oysters on the half shell, cold and tasty - I found the hot sauce very hot, be careful ! My short rib was fantastic and the sides complemented the main. I’m not crazy about squash but the purée was spectacular ! Nice dessert menu but most of us went for the Eleven Grand Bar , the obvious choice for those who like chocolate. Highly recommended.
We were supposed to go see Colin Jost last night. But since he decided to bobsled instead, we decided to keep the rest of our plans. We tried Eleven for the first time. For starters, I had the tuna tartare and my wife had the seared scallops with red yam coconut curry, radishes, cucumber, and peanuts. I really liked the tuna tartare. So did my wife. I would have just liked a tad more of the ponzu saice. I could have eaten a triple portion and called it a night. The scallops were surprisingly good. It all came together for a nice balanced app. For mains, we ordered the NY Strip with mash and broccolini and the grilled swordfish with the rock shrimp risotto. Both were excellent. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I’ve always said the best steaks in town are not found at steakhouses, but at fine dining establishments. The swordfish was seared nicely. The risotto was cooked perfectly and had a nice amount of shrimp. I didn’t taste fennel though. But that didn’t ruin the dish. Jeanne, our waitress, as attentive, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and made dinner enjoyable. Overall, I am going to give Eleven 🐟🥩🐟🥩 1/2 out of 5. — at Eleven.
