We had a great dinner here with our family of four. I ordered the Seafood Tasting, and both the scallop and cod were excellent—fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. My son ordered the short rib and shared a few bites with me, and it was tender and delicious. My daughter loved the meatballs, and the calamari was also very good. A nice surprise was the complimentary bread service. The three different varieties were all warm and tasty, and a great way to start the meal. Our total came to about $230 for four people, including tip, which we thought was quite reasonable for the quality of the food and the overall experience. We'd be happy to come back.
The food was good but the portions are not very generous for the price. When the appetizer (polenta and chantrelle mushrooms) came out we were startled by the tiny size. It was tasty but literally only a few bites. We also had the short ribs (we e ach ordered our own), which were very tender and delicious. The meat portion was fair sized but it only came with five or six gnocchi and a quarter cup of veggies, so make sure to order a salad and appetizer if you want a full meal. The Eleven Grand Candy Bar dessert was exceptional, very rich and more generously portioned. The Lemon Meringue Creme Brulee didn't have much brulee to it which disappointed my husband but the flavor was good and great presentation. Free bread and chocolates were a nice touch. Decent atmosphere and service overall (aside from waiting almost ten minutes for our server to initially come) but Fet-Fisk, Dish Osteria, and Pusadee's Garden were all better value, better atmosphere and better service. 3.5 stars overall but I'll round up.

Party of 4 went for dinner on a Tuesday evening in June. We had a reservation for 6:15pm and showed up 20 minutes early. They seated us immediately at a booth anyway, which was nice of them. Avery, our server, was very nice throughout. They have a good complimentary serving of bread. We had the meatballs to share for the table, and the 3 pieces were actually quite big. I had the short ribs entree and it was alright, very soft and juicy. Couple other folks had the salmon and I got to try it a bit - that was superb!! By the end of it, we had no space left for dessert. The upper level has more private areas and also an outdoor patio.
Great place for a wide selection of classic American dishes… anything from steak to seafood, and pasta to burgers. The eleven burger, topped with bacon, crispy onions and white cheddar was excellent, alongside the deliciously seasoned fries. The sticky toffee dessert was also top tier. The vibe inside is a mix of upscale and tavern esque, suitable for any occasion or group. Would highly recommend.
Best meal we have had in Pittsburgh. Every dish was delectable. Highly recommend the scallops, goat cheese salad, Cod, and ricotta cavatelli. Ingredients are fresh and local, the wines are diverse and delicious. Our server Mitch was excellent with the pacing of the meal and his recommendations were spot on. Can’t wait to go back to try their brunch!
