Took my 2009 mercury in because the blend door was stuck in heat mode, after a little bait and switch with the diagnostic. Was told 149.99 but when I got there shop supplies and other fees added another 37.00. Then I was told they needed me to authorize an evacuation and recharge in case they needed to do it to check the AC. Didn't think that Would be a problem because it was blowing ice cold air before the door stuck. I got a call from them the next day saying the refrigerant was low so they did the recharge, 195 plus refrigerant, then couldn't find anything wrong with the system.. Then they proceeded to tell me the blend door had broken off from the actuator and the part was unavailable. Then I was told even if it had been avaliable they wouldn't have attempted the repair because due to the age of the car the dash would not have survived. I think they could have determined the dash was too brittle before they charged the system. I believe they were thinking more about their bottom line than what was best for me as a customer. Definitely won't be back. After reading my review Johnny, the operations manager, reached out to me regarding my concerns. I was impressed by his timely response and genuine desire to make things right. After explaining to him the issues I had he was able to resolve them to my satisfaction. They have earned my respect and future business.
Pheonix Auto is an absolute godsend!! Brad, and everyone there were insanely helpful, and transparent about everything my vehicle needed to get done. They are very honest people; my final bill was well under what I got quoted for the repairs. I will definitely be bringing all of my vehicles back to Phoenix Auto; I can't recommend them enough!!

We were traveling from Florida to Minnesota when our brakes locked up on the interstate. Jumped on Google for the closest garage and found Phoenix Auto Repair. We were able to limp ourselves there. What a gem of a place!! They looked at our truck and assured us they could work us in and back on the road. They were true to their word! Honest, friendly and professional! The people of Nashville are lucky to have this place ! Thanks a million Phoenix Auto Repair!
Flew out to buy a rust free 02 Chevy s-10 from Minnesota. After flight delays and other trip encounters. Met with the seller @ 1:00AM and just bought the truck. As we started driving down the freeway into Nashville. Truck was flashing the CEL and running terrible A/F. Found a hotel, next morning started searching for shops with a good rating and that did same day service (Banking on it something easy). Found Phoenix Auto Repair had a good rating called in and they immediately said bring it in we will get you looked at. Brad checked us in and offered us a rental car that was way cheaper than Ubering music city. So, we took it and toured the city. After some emotional frustrations on my spur of the moment purchase and discussions on what was going on with the truck. I as an experienced mechanic. I found that this shop is really knowledgeable and knows their stuff. They are very thorough and want to fix the "cause", not just the problem. They are a friendly shop who are there to get you back on the road. If I find more rust free vehicles in TN. I am definitely using them as an inspection shop. Would highly recommend them to anybody.
Phoenix Auto Repair is the most legit shop I have ever been to. They are responsive and reliable. They are top notch and treat you and your vehicle with respect. Very easy to communicate with the office people. Joe and the rest, make all the processes run smoothly. I am very happy with my repair service.
