T&D Electrical recently completed a 200A service upgrade at my home in Chicago, and the quality of their work was excellent. After comparing multiple quotes, T&D provided the most competitive pricing by a significant margin. The project scope was extensive: they handled the demolition of the old accessible equipment and installed a new 200-amp riser, a 1G meter, and a 40-space electrical panel. They also managed the installation of specific 240V receptacles for a new electric oven, water heater (with disconnect), and an electric dryer. T&D efficiently expedited the required City of Chicago permits. All grounding, wiring, and panel labeling were executed precisely to code. The transition was smooth, and the new setup operates flawlessly. Highly recommended for complex electrical service upgrades.
Marcus, Sandra and the whole T&D electrician team have been excellent to work with. Their professionalism and expertise was a great asset to us as we navigated renovating a historical home, along with adding a 2 story addition that included a basement. This project started during Covid and went way longer than expected. T&D was so patient and understanding, during the many delays we encountered, working well and flexible with Chicago's permit process. T&D Electrical responded quickly after the storm of June 10 when my neighbor’s tree branch completely snapped the wire from the pole and also from the connection to my house. I had an estimate the next day and the work was completed early on the following day. Everyone from T&D was very knowledgeable and respectful. The two electricians did a beautiful job on reconstructing the headmast which had been bent away from the siding. They also added ground wire to the meter box. Excellent work!
I’ve now hired T&D for 2 separate jobs spanning six months. Rodrigo, my first and only technician as I’ve requested him each time, is phenomenal. He’s talented, kind, honest and has gone above and beyond to find solutions to my projects. The first required grounding as a ceiling fan was removed. The second, and much larger project, involved creating and installing lighting for a custom art display spanning my large staircase. Rodrigo came up with a beautiful lighting scheme that not only shows off the piece but truly represents the artist’s intention. Thank you Rodrigo!
I’m new to home ownership and navigating different electrical/plumbing/etc is stressful. I was recommended T&D and they have been fantastic, couldn’t recommend enough.
