My recent experience with Anderson Heating & Cooling felt less like a professional service and more like a legal scam. They took advantage of a customer at their weakest point—knowing my unit was down and that I desperately needed it running. Here is the breakdown of how they operate: The Part: A standard component that retails for roughly $30 USD. The Anderson Price: Approximately $400 USD just for the part. The Markup: A staggering 1,200%+ increase over the market price. Did you make a quick buck off me, Anderson leadership? The answer is clear as day: Yes. But was it worth it? You gained a few hundred dollars today, but anyone reading this will think twice before choosing your service. Taking advantage of people in a bind is a terrible business model. This is the absolute last time I will ever call Anderson Heating & Cooling. Summary: I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Do not use this company unless you want to be severely overcharged.
Yesterday we had the second annual check up for our HVAC system. I’m very pleased to say that the results were the same as last year with no issues found. Our system is now 13 years old and has performed well over that period of time. I would attribute that to a “quality system” as well as preventative maintenance by our service supplier! I could not complement Anderson without mentioning our service technician, Jason Harmon. We thank Jason as well as Anderson for staffing highly qualified and attentive personnel! Wonderful service. Fast diagnosis of old system. Had new system installed same day. Hector helped us select a good system. Elvis and Nolan worked well into the evening installing an entirely new system. They were tidy, efficient, and very caring. They did a great job and we are very happy with the quality and speed of their work. Highly recommend Andersen. Elvis and Nolan and Hector have our highest recommendation.
I received a same-day appointment for service when my A/C went out on one of the hottest days of the season. The technician was able to diagnose the issue relatively quickly and made the repair. I did end up paying significantly more than what I expected to replace a damper motor but needed the repair. Andersen was even willing to send out a tech at my request on the next day to make sure the system was working properly. I am appreciative of the work done.
I have been with Anderson Air over 8 years and always have been satisfied. But last year I really learned about their integrity and commitment to their customers. My annual service was completed and I left on vacation for over a month. A problem developed with an older part! When I explained my issue, an Anderson supervisor handled everything at my home and worked so dedicatedIy my neighbors were impressed!
