We stayed at The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician last week to celebrate my wife’s and daughter’s birthdays, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. They both had such a fun time in Scottsdale, and staying here made the trip even more special. A huge thank you to Derek at the front desk — he was amazing throughout our entire stay and made thoughtful birthday arrangements that meant a lot to our family. Also a big shout-out to Troy from the bell team, who was extremely helpful and kind every time we saw him. Both Derek and Troy went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location is perfect — close to Scottsdale Fashion Square, fine dining, and hiking. The complimentary car service to nearby spots is a great touch. The Canyon Suites are tucked away in a quiet corner, offering peace and privacy, while the main resort has plenty of energy and amenities. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back!
This property is exceptional! impeccable service and genuine hospitality from start to finish. Derek at the front desk arranged an upgrade that truly elevated our stay; he was remarkably attentive, gracious, and professional. The resort even offers a family movie night, which was such a delightful surprise for the kids. Every team member we encountered was warm and welcoming, and Buzz at the breakfast buffet was absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend this place for a memorable stay!

I recently stayed at The Canyon Suites and I can't recommend it enough. First off, Roger at the front desk was amazing—he was so friendly and professional and really made me feel welcome. The hotel itself is immaculate, and my one-bedroom suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable. It even had beautiful Frette Italian linens and a big marble bath, which was a nice touch. I also have to mention breakfast. The complimentary artisan breakfast in the Canyon Lounge was delicious, with a huge variety of options every morning. It was definitely a highlight of my stay! I loved the fact that The Canyon Suites has its own private pool. It's a perfect 'resort within a resort' and I'll definitely be back.
We stayed here over Labor Day weekend when we were in town for my son's hockey tournament. Since we were driving between rinks in Chandler and North Scottsdale, this was the perfect location to be equidistant from both places. The Canyon Suites definitely lived up to its reputation. After check in, we were walked to our room by the front desk staff, who told us about the amenities and activities at the hotel that weekend. The room was large, well furnished with ample storage for clothing, luggage, and other gear. Our balcony overlooked the city and had a great view of the lights at night. The included breakfast every morning was a great variety, including the gluten free selection, which is rare to find at a hotel breakfast. There's a nice indoor area to eat, but also a shaded outdoor patio near the pool and a waterfall. At night, the lounge area was open for drinks and light snacks. Valet is included, though self-park is right below the building and very convenient also. Every time we left the hotel the valet staff provided us with cold, bottled water. We didn't use the Canyon Pool this trip, but did go to the main pool at the Phoenician and it was great. My son loved the slide, there's a large splash pad for younger kids, hot tubs, and multiple pools. They were also doing activities and games at the pool while we were there. The athletic club is large and more than meets any exercise needs while you are there. There was also yoga and tennis included, but we did not get to participate in those activities.
The canyons is phenomenal, contemporary, great breakfast, calm and relaxing pool area. Derek took great care of us ensuing we had an amazing time. Would not recommend the primary Phoenician, it’s dated and crowded.
