I was visiting all the way from San Diego, CA, to celebrate my sister's birthday and was looking for somewhere special to take her. I found this restaurant on Instagram, checked out the menu, and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere was beautiful, and the music was amazing. I even had to compliment the DJ because the music selection was on point! Our server, Ahja, made our first visit even better. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment she greeted us. She took the time to explain the menu and answered all of our menu questions. Throughout our meal, she consistently checked in to make sure we were enjoying our food and drinks, which made us feel genuinely cared for. The food was ABSOLUTLEY amazing! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. The mimosa tower was very refreshing lol, it was the perfect addition to our brunch. To me, hospitality is the most important part of any restaurant, followed closely by the food. The way you're treated, the quality of the food, and the overall vibe are what keep customers coming back and this place absolutely delivered on all three. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in Ohio. Highly recommend!
Tonight, my boyfriend and I’s experience at House of Creole was nothing less of amazing. We were traveling through and had to stop. From the food, to the SERVICE! Shoutout to DAN the Man. If you’re ever in Columbus at this spot, request him as your server. From his recommendations of drinks, to his care (especially since we had just traveled from a pretty heavy emotional day), he made the visit the absolute best. We also got to meet the general manager Roger, who also took extremely good care of us. He also shared his story, and we learned we both were from the same area in dc. We also noticed the care he took not only with us, but the rest of the guests around us. You do not see that type of care often from a general manager. The food was DELICIOUS! Definitely recommend the bayou rolls, the bayou pasta, and the creole bird! Food can always be good, but you remember how people make you feel - Dan and Roger, thank you for helping to turn a very difficult day upside down into a beautiful blessing, with some GREAT FOOD. We will be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at House of Creole, and a huge part of that was thanks to Dan the Man! It was such a pleasure being served by one of the trainers. You can tell he truly cares about great customer service because he made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. He made excellent recommendations, hooked me up with a delicious drink, and every food recommendation was on point. The food was absolutely delicious, and his attentive, friendly service made the entire experience even better. If you’re visiting House of Creole, I highly recommend asking for Dan the Man. He’ll make sure you’re well taken care of. Thank you for such a great dining experience—we’ll definitely be back!
Came here on Mothers Day, directly from OSU graduation. We had a reservation and got right in. Service was a little slow, but they were slammed. The waiter was very attentive, and apologized for the delays in food. This was our first trip here and we each enjoyed our meals. I had the Creole bird which had great flavor, only slightly dry. Yummy Parmesan mashed potatoes, and cooked to perfection asparagus. The cornbread was sweet like a dessert! We shared bang bang shrimp and the two egg roll appetizers. My favorite was the bang bang shrimp. My husband and son had the crab cakes which were amazing. My daughter had the cheeseburger and fries. Nice cocktail/mocktail selections.
Daniel was our server and was amazing. His vibe matched the vibe of the restaurant itself and was on top of everything. Speaking of the restaurant, I’ve never experienced anything like it outside of Bourbon Street itself. Being from Baton Rouge, Louisiana it was a breath of fresh air. A feeling that I haven’t had in a long time and a flavor that I could never forget. We had the creole eggrolls, The fried deviled eggs, and the bang bang shrimp to start all of which were very great. I had the grits which was amazing and my wife had the wings which I don’t wanna complain about, but the salt was a little sweeter than it need to be and it seemed like they were cooked longer than needed to be, but other than that everything was absolutely amazing. Definitely looking forward to coming back again and also checking out your Cleveland location. Don’t be afraid to sell okra here. People will get over it and get that étouffée popping. THANK YOU GUYS!
