My experience with 3 Mountains was one of the best I’ve had with any home services company. After many years of ignoring our perpetually clogged basement drain and the mismatched plumbing in our 104 year old home, it was finally time to bring things up to date. Scheduling the appointment was straightforward, I did it first with their AI assistant and then called back and spoke to a person to confirm everything was correct. Initially, a drain specialist was assigned to clear the clog, then a plumber was scheduled to address the other issues. We were fortunate to next meet Xerxes. And here is where the story begins. Xerxes was incredibly knowledgable and dedicated to giving us the most efficient plumbing system for our multi-level house. From the moment he arrived, he identified several issues and came up with a comprehensive plan for us to move forward. He examined all of the plumbing from the bottom of the house to the top, making sure nothing was overlooked. Our house is deceptively large and previous owners over the decades had added and changed many things. Despite the fact that some pipes had been replaced, the old galvanized plumbing was ruining our relatively new hot water heater, and water quality in the house was pretty poor. During the assessment, I also mentioned that our furnace had some rust inside and I was concerned it needed service. Xerxes immediately arranged for a 3 Mountains HVAC specialist to make an assessment. In one extremely active week, that involved diggers, trenchers, and a very cheerful crew, we had a new tankless water system, new sewer line to the street; and our old galvanized pipes were replaced with up to date materials. Xerxes worked non-stop the first day hand digging a trench along the side of our house that I could not believe one person did alone. The man is a machine. I had no idea what this project was going to entail and it was quite a shock to see my yard when everything was in progress. Xerxes and I had discussed which plants were important to me and where he would have to dig and the crew put the lawn back together almost exactly like it was before. They even mulched our tiered retaining wall so that we have a beautiful flower garden in progress. Inside the house, Xerxes and his team removed our decrepit cement laundry sinks, which were leaking and completely unusable, installed a new sink, and gave me a laundry area that is so much more functional. They disconnected and removed some old water filtration tanks left-over from the previous homeowners, which cleared up significant basement space. Xerxes was committed to ensuring that no detail was overlooked. By the end of the week, he was practically part of the family. I felt completely confident leaving things in his hands and he definitely earned the Golden Wrench on this project. In addition to the plumbing project, we also had a new furnace and air conditioning unit installed. This was done by another very professional team and we are enjoying the results. We are so thrilled with the service we received and would absolutely recommend 3 Mountains and Xerxes for any plumbing or home service.

After living in my home for 35 years, I faced a complete repipe of both the water and sanitation systems. I’m very glad I chose 3 Mountains Home Services. The project leader, Xerxes La Beaux, was a consummate professional, and he and his team delivered exemplary service. On a project of this size, trust is essential and Xerxes, Shawn and Dru earned mine. They were respectful of my home and worked each day to keep it as livable as possible. At the end of the ten day project, the Lake Oswego Inspector noted on his report “the journeyman did great work reconfiguring existing plumbing layout to make it code compliant.” I also heard the inspector verbally tell him how exceptional his work was in tight spaces. Comforting to hear such positives from an inspector. Thank you Xerxes! I want to update my review from a month ago to express my sincere appreciation to Xerxes La Beaux. He kept his word and came back to finish the last piece of this construction puzzle. Xerxes followed through on everything he said he would do. Integrity, reliability and trust…I am genuinely grateful for the level of service and care that went into the work.
Jon-Marc is the best! Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He installed a sink and replaced some very old pipes for me. He went above and beyond to do an excellent job! He clearly explained what he did and why. As a solo lady at home, Jon-Marc was kind and respectful. I’m remodeling my house and will definitely be using Jon-Marc for future plumbing projects.
We just bought our first home and knew there were a few things that needed to be done like adding an indoor water shutoff valve, replacing the toilet flange, and fixing some of the gas lines. When we called 3 Mountains we didn't know that we were going to get Xerxes out to our house, and boy, he is one incredible plumber! He walked us through everything he found while doing the initial assessment, gave us all the info we needed to make an informed decision, and after we decided to also upgrade to a tankless water heater, he went above and beyond. I mean, just look at that clean install, the gold paint job to clean up the gas meter, this guy deserves all 5 stars and then some! He truly paid extra attention to detail to make the stress of new home repairs and upgrades nonexistent, went past the line items of just installing the new equipment to make it really look nice, and even offered to take a quick peek and look into a few other things that we didn't even know needed our attention - true dedication to customer service! He knew that we were just getting started with our first home and he wanted to make sure that everything was done, not just well in a functional sense, but looking good and setting us up for a great start with the new house. If you're looking to call 3 Mountains for plumbing work, definitely see if Xerxes is available - I know who I'm calling if I ever need any more work done!
Highly recommend 3 Mountain Home Services — ask for Xerxes We called 3 Mountain Home Services after discovering a kitchen drain leak behind our walls, and to get quotes on replacing a toilet and an outdoor faucet. Xerxes came out, immediately recognized the scope of the damage from the leak, and coordinated a remediation company on the spot. He also offered some practical advice on working with our home insurance — exactly the kind of thing you appreciate when you're stressed and don't know where to start. What really set him apart was the thorough inspection that followed. Our home is over 100 years old and has a patchwork of galvanized steel, PVC, copper, and PEX. Xerxes patiently explained what happens when those materials mix over time (corrosion), and flagged that our main line from the street was galvanized running into PVC — a ticking time bomb if it ever failed. He also noticed that our toilet wasn't properly bolted down and that we had old galvanized drain pipes with a slow leak we didn't even know about. We ended up getting quotes for — and having him complete — a new toilet and surrounding sanitary pipes, full replacement of the galvanized main line from the street, the kitchen drain and venting, and a new outdoor faucet. As a bonus, he reconfigured the pipes in our laundry/furnace room so our washer and dryer could sit side by side, opening up real floor space. He also replaced a damaged hot water heater. Before that replacement, 3 Mountain sent out an electrician to verify our grounding was up to spec — and while he was there, he replaced a bad light fixture in the laundry room and spotted a failed outlet in the garage, replacing it on the spot. That kind of thoroughness from the whole team is rare. Through all of it: Xerxes was always on time, always cheerful, and always explained what he was doing and why. Every single day he left us with a fully functional house — working sinks, bathrooms, and hot water — and clean work spaces. When a faucet got clogged with sediment after one of the work days, he came back on his own time to make sure every faucet in the house had good flow. This is a plumber who actually looks out for you — and a company that backs it up. Couldn't recommend them more.
