I hadn’t been to the dentist since I was a kid because, honestly, I was terrified to go. Growing up, going to the dentist just wasn’t something my family could always afford, and as time went on my fear only got worse. But now that I’m an adult and finally able to prioritize my health, I knew I needed to start taking care of my oral health, so a little over a year ago I started my journey with Heights Modern Dentistry. Every single time I come in, everyone is so kind, patient, and helpful. They never make you feel judged or embarrassed about your dental health, which meant so much to me as someone with a lot of anxiety surrounding the dentist. Karina has been amazing when it comes to helping me understand my insurance and giving accurate pricing for treatments so there are no surprises. All of the hygienists and assistants who have worked with Dr. Sang have been incredibly supportive and comforting during my visits. I recently had a root canal done by Dr. Tang, and before the procedure I heard so many horror stories about the pain afterward. But Dr. Tang is such a skilled and gentle doctor that I had little to no pain even three days later. I honestly could not believe it. I had so much fear of the dentist until I found Heights Modern Dentistry. They helped me rebuild my confidence, overcome years of fear, and finally take control of my oral health, and I’m so grateful for the care they’ve given me.
I recently visited this dental office as a new patient for routine X-rays and a cleaning. While the staff was courteous, the overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication and excessive wait time. My appointment lasted approximately 4hours for what should have been a straightforward visit. During that time, I received little to no updates about the delays. I had to ask twice for an explanation before anyone acknowledged the wait or provided any information about when I would be seen. I understand that unexpected delays can happen in any healthcare setting, but keeping patients informed is a basic courtesy and goes a long way in maintaining trust. Better communication throughout the appointment would have made the experience much more manageable. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as improving communication and appointment flow would greatly enhance the patient experience.

I went to The Heights Modern Dentistry in Houston because they were able to offer me a same-day appointment for severe pain in my lower right molar. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the professionalism and compassion of the entire team. As soon as I checked in, they took my vital signs and X-rays, and I was seen promptly. Dr. Motino carefully reviewed the X-rays with me and took the time to explain, in detail, why I was experiencing such intense pain. My molar had already been restored with approximately 80% filling material, and she clearly explained my condition, the prognosis, and all of my treatment options without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Motino was exceptionally informative, constantly explaining each step and making sure I was comfortable and completely free of pain. Mariana was equally wonderful, providing reassurance and making sure I felt at ease throughout the process. Both Dr. Motino and Mariana were truly angels during a very stressful experience. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. I cannot thank them enough, and I highly recommend The Heights Modern Dentistry to anyone looking for outstanding dental care. The entire team exceeded my expectations and turned what could have been a very frightening experience into one where I felt informed, cared for, and in excellent hands.
I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Mili Motino! She recently replaced one of my veneers, and the results are absolutely perfect. Her attention to detail, precision, and care truly stand out. She was so gentle, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. I would never go anywhere else for any dental-related issue. Highly recommend Dr. Motino to anyone looking for exceptional dental care! The office is located at 1911 Taylor Street! Heights Modern Dentistry is the best dentistry I’ve gone so far. From the moment I walked in Karina P. Was happy to help me and my check in was super easy and fast. Dr. Sang was super nice, very acknowledgeable of my concerns. She gave me good feedback on what can help my teeth be in better shape. Jasmine was super fast and easy on my teeth. She attended me with much care and explained the procedure that would be done for me. She explained the after care as well with no complications. I highly recommend this place!
