So… I think this is a must in Atlanta. Imma try to be super objective: Fried chicken is so delish, super seasoned and boneless. However, it’s not that big for being a chicken breast. Seafood Gumbo: one of the best (if not The) gumbos I’ve ever tried. Packed of protein, not extremely seasoned but still great. Con: Too short of grits. I’d add up two more spoons of grits for a 21 dollars plate. But, still… amazing. Peach cobbler: Flawless. I had half portion and it was even bigger than the gumbo plate tbh. What I didn’t like at all: they don’t offer tap water. Just bottled water (at soda price). Will was my server and he never lied about anything; he was super descriptive (and accurate) and always supervising your experience. 5 star service but I can’t rate 5 without tap water (which it has nothing to do with him I hope) Atmosphere was great. I raved with the music they were playing.
Wait: Suuuper packed but worth it. Our wait was actually very short - 15 mins. As a visitor to ATL I have noticed that the food tends to be sweet and salty haha like more than usual so keep that in mind when ordering. Starter: We got a cinnamon roll to start and all 6 of us shared it cause it was super sweet but deliciouss! Chicken & Waffles: I opted for the chicken and waffles and the chicken was SO GOOD - especially with the hot sauce and honey. I liked that my dish wasn’t too too salty. BLT: The fried green tomatoes BLT was okay! It wasn’t anything to write about tbh. Con: the drinks come bottled so they are on the pricey side and no refills or large selection. Kinda a miss cause I think if they changed that, the place would likely be a 10/10 for me. Pro: the service is AMAZING and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. (Not always the case from my experience when visiting the city) I also brought my baby and a hostess gave us grits for him on the house- and he loved them!

Reason for visiting: Saturday morning breakfast in ATL Date/time of visit: Saturday morning, ~10:00 AM. We made a reservation on Yelp/Open table.. but we were seated at 10 AM. Parking: there is some parking in front but you probably won't find any. We parked on Luckie St., for free, in the residential area. There are paid lots since it's near the Aquarium and World of Coca Cola. Party size: 8; 3 kids Environment/ambience: busy; loud. TVs were on but no sound. People are always shuffling in and out. Service: was good; let us know the specials and came around often. Brought us extra waters; had 8 but only charged for 5 (only bottled water). Brought us an extra cinnamon roll that we didn't order but sent back. Food: had the original Chicken and waffles; huge portion so this is a good place to share. The chicken and waffles were pretty good. Cinnamon roll was a little sweet. Cost: ~$225 with tip Would I go back (yes/no): 80/20
This diner is absolutely amazing! We loved it so much! The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the short rib with potatoes and spinach, and the chicken sandwich. The beef on the short rib is so amazingly fall- apart tender with just the right amount of pink on the inside. The potatoes are so very crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside, they were seasoned to perfection. Me, myself, am not a fan of cooked spinach, but this was great! The chicken sandwich is the same level of awesome as the short rib dish. Perfectly tender chicken, fresh lettuce, and overall just amazing. The chicken sandwich is served with either a salad or fries, I picked the salad. The lettuce, you can tell is very fresh and a great dish overall. I recommend getting the lemon vinaigrette dressing as it adds a tangy flavor to the salad. The desserts all looked awesome, but I chose the red velvet cheesecake.(shown in the image below) It was the best part of the dish. It was so soft and fluffy, and the strawberries they serve with it are very sweet. It actually was not real cheesecake, just very soft, gooey, normal cake, but still amazing! The service was excellent, very fast! Our server was very upbeat, friendly, outgoing. She was amazing! Definitely needs a raise!! Atmosphere was very cozy and chill, there is no vibe that you are being rushed whatsoever. The bathrooms are very clean! We LOVED this dined and definitely recommend it! Our overall experience was AMAZING!!! There was absolutely nothing wrong with our experience here! We loved this place, and if we are ever in Georgia again, (we live in Pennsylvania) we will always pick the breakfast club diner! 😁😀😆😄
We had an amazing experience at Breakfast Club Atlanta! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was fun, vibrant, and welcoming. Even though the restaurant was very busy, the service was still exceptional. Our server, Cywoo, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the Georgia Peach, and it was so good that I’d come back just to have it again! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a lively brunch spot. We can’t wait to return!
