Wonderful staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dr. Allen takes time with his patients to explain what needs to be done. One couldn’t ask for a more dedicated group than the group that worked with me during the experimental week trying to find the best program for the stimulator I was wearing. Thank you Stephen and Sammy so much for not giving up on me.
I would like to recognize ; Dr Ernest Wright III, Kate Benes, Fayth Bell , Dr Ward , Dr. Garza, Dr. Conwell Please forgive any names I have forgotten I hope I covered all🙏🏽🙏🏽 Elizabeth RN ER 4 Kidd ( 4th Floor) Gul, Chloe, Jessica, Alyssa, Destiny, Reagan , Karol 8Kidd (8th Floor) Allie, Parker, Tori, Mama Cathy, Yari, Becca, Sade, Amber, Jodaimy, Diana, Hanna, Hailey, Caitlyn, Glenda, Sarah, Josh, Barbara, Nora PT Team Grace , and who ever I missed I came to Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Nashville through the ER having an emergency. Immediately I was met with such caring staff I waited no longer than about 20 minutes before I was in a room speaking with a nurse and doctors. My pain was managed soon after being assessed. I had a team of medical professionals at my bed side taking the best care of me. Soon after, I was admitted into the hospital and underwent a very delicate spine/clavicle surgery. After my surgery I had the best care only one could imagine. Having surgery is a very scary thing to go through but when you have a team of people who work so well together, the fear is gone and the focus is on recovery. Every person I encounter treated me as I was family and had patience with me giving me all the time I needed. My care team ensured I understood everything happening. Safety, infection control , HIPPA , Patience rights etc. were all top priority. Hospital was very clean and smelled nice. Anyone who entered my room washed / sanitized hands before and after my visit. I was constantly asked if I needed anything. Bed alarm stayed on as orderd for safety reasons, my water pitcher stayed filled with ice and water , each day I received fresh linen after a bed bath. Each time I pressed my call light a response was immediate. Food Service ; Food was tasty and always came hot. Of course it is the hospital so they follow healthy guidelines and have season packets available. I had several entrees to choose from. Food service staff was very professional and sweet. I have had several surgeries and have been hospitalized in the past at various hospitals. I can say that this hospital is top rated 5 Star and I will never choose another hospital over Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Nashville unless I have no other option. I highly recommend pay raises and various kinds of incentives to show appreciation for the excellent Team of professionals you have. Thank you Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Nashville for the care I received🩷🩷

My wife had back surgery and let me tell you we had the absolute best nurses ever. They treated her like a queen, very nice, very pleasant, professional and very caring. Everyone from the 2nd shift nurses to nights to Saturday morning nurses, pt therapy, LPN, nurse practitioner were awesome I would highly recommend this place. We’d been eating out of a vending machine and they brought us turkey sandwiches, peanut butter cups, crackers, ice cream, and drinks. I would definitely highly recommend them. Way to go guys…superb job and thank you
