What a gem near our hotel! Stopped in during our Seattle trip and everything hit the spot. High protein, fresh, light but so flavorful. The smoked salmon was outstanding, and the shrimp/crab dip with roe was just as good. Homemade lemonade was the perfect finish. Edward took great care of us. Kind, knowledgeable, and made it a really nice way to end the evening. Lingon is doing everything right. Can’t wait to come back!
QUIET CONFIDENCE; easily one of the best meals we have had in Seattle! Service and food were unforgettable! We had the oysters, cubano, arugula salad, crab/shrimp dip, smoked salmon, mushroom soup, and a flight of Swedish pancakes. Edward, thank you so much! We will be back!!
An absolute must try. For mains we ordered the swedish meatballs and the croque madame and both were incredible in both taste and portion!! The meatballs in particular were tender, seasoned well, and paired great with the sauce. We then had the lingonberry and the lemon curd pancakes (both were also delicious). Throughout the meal the service was amazing, making the entire dining experience very enjoyable. (The lingonberry lemonade was also unique and refreshing)

We weren’t even planning on stopping for a meal, but as we were walking by Lingon, the incredible aroma wafting from the door literally drew us in. It was one of those "we have to see what that is" moments, and I am so glad we followed our noses! The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish felt like a masterclass in Swedish-influenced cuisine: Toast Skagen: This was a standout. The shrimp was perfectly creamy, topped with fresh dill and a generous serving of roe, served alongside some of the best-toasted bread I’ve ever had. Pressed Cubano Sandwich: Crispy, savory, and served with a side of vibrant pickled onions and a delicious beet salad that added the perfect punch of acidity. The Crepe/Swedish Pancake: We finished off with a thin, delicate crepe dusted with powdered sugar and topped with a rich pistachio cream. It was the perfect sweet ending. Beyond the kitchen, the hospitality made the experience. Ed provided fantastic service he was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the second we walked in. We shared many laughs! It’s rare to find a spot that nails both the high-end culinary execution and a warm, neighborhood vibe. If you are in Seattle, this is a must-visit. Whether you're a fan of Swedish flavors or just someone who appreciates a damn good meal, Lingon needs to be on your list!
**The chef is passionate about good food, and you can taste the difference.** This place is awesome. I stumbled in here during a work trip to Seattle. I'm Swedish, so I thought I'd give this place a try. The Swedish meatballs were amazing. Wonderful flavor, perfectly prepared, amazing lingonberry jam topping. The house red wine was a great pairing as well. The swedish pancake for dessert was stellar. Beyond the food, this is a special place. Edward and Drew made me feel at home in their establishment. They are very personable and fun to be around. I will be back the next time I'm in Seattle. Thanks again my friends!
