I LOVED this place! I'm an adult who went with my parents and we had a great time! We primarily went for the Lego exhibit, but ended up spending way more time than originally anticipated at the Frog exhibit (I LOVE frogs), the aquarium and rainforest parts, and the human body exhibit. I definitely recommend this place to both adults and kids!
Creative and updated exhibits make this science center a continuously fun destination for our family. There are live animals to see (birds, fish, amphibians) a fun room for toddlers, rotating exhibits for older kids and adults and an IMax theater. Pros: something for everyone to do, plenty of bathrooms, gluten-free options at the snack bar Cons: parking is limited on busy days, also there can be a long line to check in sometimes so have something to entertain your littles

I'll give this place a big old MEH! I'll keep this short... First floor has some fish and frogs to look at and a very good little kids area (7 and under), second floor has a good amount of stuff for kids to touch and play with (physics related) third floor is a joke of barely anything. There were a handful of things on the second floor that were not working the day we went. For the price they charge it's not worth it at all. Way too expensive for the barely 2 hours you can kill. Plus gotta pay for parking.
I recently took my son to an event that our health insurance company held here for kids with their insurance&their families after hrs.Reps from the company had booths set up2answer any health insurance questions&we were able 2 experience&enjoy everything Discovery Place has to offer.I'd forgot about Discovery Place.I remember going with school as a kid&really&having fun.We really had a great time. Was a 3hour event. We were only 2hrs.&spent them on the 2nd floor. The Lego part wild!My son enjoyed&spent the most time there. They have great regular prices.$12 for tickets for ppl over 12&I think it's $10 for younger kids.If you have foodSamps,Snap or WIC, your ticket prices are reduced to $3.Your parking is also reduced.I don't know parking prices.I need 2 check, but with tickets being affordable,I'd imagine parking is too.We will be going back very soon so we can stay longer. We really enjoyed the 2nd floor, but that's as far as we got. We didn't have time to explore the 1st or 3rd floor.
We had the most amazing time at Discovery Place! We loved exploring all the frogs, building with LEGO®, and watching the short film. A huge shoutout to Brandon for making our visit unforgettable! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and fun, and he truly made our experience top-tier. Thank you for going above and beyond—we can’t wait to come back!
