Truly Exceptional I stayed at SLS Beverly Hills during a very scary and uncertain time in my life while dealing with cancer and medical visits at Cedars-Sinai. What could have been an incredibly stressful experience was transformed into something comforting, luxurious, and genuinely uplifting because of this hotel and its incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, the valet, front desk, and everyone at The Nook treated me with such kindness, professionalism, and warmth. Every interaction felt sincere, thoughtful, and above-and-beyond. It wasn’t just a stay — it felt like being taken care of. The property itself is beautiful, but what truly stood out was the people. They made me feel safe, relaxed, and even a little glamorous during a time when I really needed that. I’m genuinely sad I couldn’t stay one more night to enjoy the area and soak it all in. Thank you, SLS, for making my Cedars-Sinai trip far more pleasant than I ever expected. I will never forget this stay.
I was wowed by this property and the people who manage it. I travel frequently and I know excellence— and I’ve found it here! Alex Bastovanov is the heart of the property! He welcomes guests with a genuine smile and welcoming attitude. He ensures that the guest’s requests are fulfilled and he goes above and beyond by anticipating their future needs. The stay is truly individualized because of his caring and kind approach—one feels they are home but with high end touches of elegance and sophistication. I recovered from a surgical procedure at the hotel and I feel the positive atmosphere accelerated my healing and aided my recovery. The location is superb because it is walkable to Beverly Hills and to tennis and pickleball at La Cienaga Tennis Center and a well known hospital nearby. There is a fabulous pool for sun lovers and house car when you just want to have someone professional to whisk you away to your favorite restaurant or drs appointment. This hotel is really wonderful and the staff are all beyond compare.

Very disappointing check-in experience at SLS Beverly Hills. After a 17-hour flight, the last thing you expect is friction at the front desk — yet that is exactly what happened. Over the past seven months I have visited 13 countries and in total traveled to more than 40 countries worldwide. I have never experienced a check-in situation like this, whether in developing countries or highly regulated destinations such as the UAE or Qatar. My wife and young son were not allowed to check in using my passport while I was only a few minutes away. I fully understand security procedures, but the handling lacked flexibility, judgment, and basic hospitality. I was also informed that a physical credit card was mandatory. I have used Apple Pay exclusively for five years and have never encountered this issue anywhere else in the world. In 2025, requiring only a physical card without alternatives feels unnecessarily rigid. When I asked to see the terms and conditions supporting these requirements, the response from the Room Operations Manager was dismissive, and the request to review the policy was repeatedly delayed instead of clearly addressed. Because the stay started in such a negative and frustrating way, I unfortunately cannot rate this experience higher than one star. First impressions matter — especially at a property positioned at this level. I have stayed at SLS Dubai before, and the experience there was on a completely different level. As a frequent Marriott guest, I expect professionalism, flexibility, and service consistency. Unfortunately, SLS Beverly Hills did not meet those expectations. I share this feedback constructively in the hope that front desk procedures and training are reviewed.
I had the BEST stay at the SLS Beverly Hills! It was my first time in LA and also my boyfriend’s and my anniversary, and the staff made everything feel so special. I especially want to shout out Kaylee — she went above and beyond for us. She recommended an incredible restaurant that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and she made sure our stay felt personalized and memorable. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel — beautiful rooms, great location, and exceptional service. I can’t wait to come back!
fix grammar they said love is sweeter the second time around..and that applies to our stay here at SLS! it's always a nice start when you're greeted warmly during check-in and LIVA exceeded that far beyond expectations! The whole staff, the valet service,housekeeping and everyone is truly exceptional. This would now be our first choice everytime we want a staycation in LA! perfect for our family,the king suite is huge. amazing rooftop deck and their avocado toast and shakshuka for breakfast (until 1:30 PM! another plus!) is a must (kiss mediocre breakfast menus goodbye!)
