Piedmont Atlanta

The hospital was nice, considering the reason for the visit. The doctors were patient and knowledgeable. The staff was friendly. The nurses, mostly, were great. Always friendly and willing to help as needed, with a positive attitude, especially Kenny, Dirah, and Ellie in the ICU. The only negative was an ICU nurse named Haley. She seemed to show a little too much of an intimate tendency towards male patient, instead of being professional. It would have been a 5 star if she had behaved properly.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Piedmont. I was in Atlanta on a business trip when I unexpectedly developed appendicitis and found myself in the hospital for the first time in my life. It was a scary and overwhelming experience, but the care I received made all the difference. A special thank you goes to my nurse, Etti. She was absolutely incredible. From the moment she took care of me, she showed genuine compassion, patience, and kindness. She constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, answered every question I had, and helped ease my anxiety during a very difficult time. She truly went above and beyond, and I will never forget how supported she made me feel. I would also like to recognize Victoria, Gene, Amy, Miranda, Tia, Dr. Thompson, and Nadia. Every single one of them provided exceptional care and treated me with so much warmth, professionalism, and empathy. They took the time to explain everything, made sure I understood what was happening, and always made me feel like more than just a patient. I've never had to stay in a hospital before, and while appendicitis was not how I expected my trip to Atlanta to go, this team turned a frightening experience into one where I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. The level of attention, compassion, and dedication they showed exceeded all expectations. I am incredibly grateful to each of them and will always remember the outstanding care I received at Piedmont.
