This is the second major renovation project we have trusted Ofer Gilksman and Maya Construction with, and once again they exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. One of the biggest reasons we returned for a second project was the experience we had the first time, and this project only reinforced that decision. Large renovations can naturally feel overwhelming, but Ofer and his team made the process feel organized, transparent, collaborative, and much easier than we expected. Communication throughout the project was exceptional. We always knew what was happening, what was coming next, and any questions or concerns we had were addressed quickly and thoroughly. We never felt out of the loop during any part of the process. We were also extremely impressed with how well the project stayed on schedule. Ofer was onsite every day checking on progress, answering questions, coordinating work, and making sure everything continued moving forward smoothly. His hands-on involvement gave us tremendous confidence throughout the project. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. Even the smaller details such as finish work, cabinetry alignment, tile installation, transitions, and overall fit and finish clearly reflect a level of care and pride in the work that can be difficult to find. What impressed us most was not just the quality of the individual rooms, but how Ofer and his team brought everything together into one cohesive vision. From the kitchen and flooring to the fireplace, bathrooms, lighting, and finishes throughout the home, every space feels intentionally connected and flows beautifully. The entire process felt less like a contractor-client relationship and more like a true partnership where our ideas mattered and everyone worked toward the same goal. We genuinely love walking into our home every day and could not be happier with the finished result. We cannot thank Ofer and his team enough for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication. We’ve worked with Maya Construction Group on multiple projects, and most recently hired them for a full commercial build-out. The project included creating a new front office with a redesigned entryway, remodeling a bathroom, and adding a kitchenette. The quality of work was strong across the board. The finished space is clean, functional, and professionally done, with good attention to detail. Throughout the process, Udi was our main point of contact and was consistently reliable, responsive, and easy to work with. Communication was clear, and the project stayed on track. Having worked with them on several projects, this has been a consistent experience rather than a one-off. We would recommend Maya Construction Group to anyone looking for a dependable contractor for commercial or residential work.
Maya did an absolutely fantastic job on my bathroom remodel. I am a repeat customer as I returned to them for a full bathroom renovation job after they had done my kitchen and basement years before. Their work is excellent, and Udi and Ofer are great communicators who keep all the pieces moving and remember even the smaller loose ends and open items. They take pride in doing excellent work, and you feel it as the customer. The work is quality and done so well -- no corners are cut, and they come through with clean, sharp execution that makes you feel very good as the homeowner. They problem-solve as things come up, and are straight-shooters with information, options and a professional/approach. I give them my highest recommendation. You will be in good hands with Maya.
We’re so glad we chose Udi and Maya Construction for our kitchen remodel. We bought a condo with a 20+-year-old, cramped kitchen (a closet at one end ate up counter space). Our scope included new cabinets, countertop, backsplash, floor tile, and appliances. Several contractors warned the popcorn ceiling would look patchy after removing the closet and said it couldn’t be blended. Udi was the only one who proposed a smart solution—drop the ceiling slightly and add recessed lights. The result is clean, bright, and open, exactly what we wanted. Udi was responsive, professional, and honest. As first-time homeowners, we appreciated how he guided our decisions and offered practical advice. His crew was punctual, respectful, and skilled. Like any project, a few things didn’t go exactly to plan, but Udi consistently brought solutions and addressed issues quickly. For example, our ceiling was lower than the hood spec, and his team cut the chimney to fit perfectly. They also went above and beyond: picking up tile, receiving the sink and faucet, and bringing everything to the unit, which meant a lot since my husband was overseas during the project. We love our new kitchen and would 100% recommend Udi and his team Maya Construction. They made the project surprisingly painless, and even enjoyable (I joked the hardest part was waking up for it since I’m not a morning person and the crew starts at 8!). Their quote was on the higher end of what we received, but the quality and peace of mind were worth every penny.
We have a 2-bedroom 2-bath condo townhome with attached garage built in the late 1980's. Everything was still original, and after almost 40 years the interior was really falling apart. It was going to have to be a total gut job. We spent several months looking for the right team. After our first chat with Ofer at Maya Construction Group, we knew we had found them. We are beyond happy with our decision! The total scope was very large: brand-new kitchen, two brand-new bathrooms, brand-new electrical box + wiring/outlets/switches, overhead lighting, fireplace insert, a new fireplace, interior doors, all-new cabinets, all-new hardwood floors and tile, patch and paint walls, wiring for ethernet, and even a new attic ladder. We saved three appliances in the garage for re-use, and the crew re-installed and fully tested them. Ofer told us that it would be about five months overall due to various factors, and that's exactly how it played out. From start to finish, Ofer and the whole Maya Construction team were fantastic! We were kept up-to-date all along. A lot of small decisions came up due to what was found along the way, and we were provided options and expert guidance that came together absolutely beautifully. Maya Construction Group was very courteous with our neighbors, and worked with our HOA approval process. Ofer was always gracious with our complicated work schedules and found ways to meet with us. We are finally living in our dream home, thanks to Maya Construction.
