My experience here was mostly positive, though the communication about timing could improve. I came in for brake fluid replacement and expected it to be done quickly, but it took longer than estimated. They explained there was an unexpected inspection needed due to moisture levels in the system. Once finished, the braking felt more responsive and consistent. The technician also showed me the old fluid condition, which helped me understand why it needed replacement. Waiting area was decent, and staff remained polite even during delays. Work quality seems solid so far.
Could not speak more highly about the professionalism and quality of inspection I received at Master works Automotive for our Jeep liberty. The car was having obvious difficulties and they were quick to get us in for evaluation and an assessment of the difficulties with the vehicle. Staff such as Nate and Jason were extremely helpful in helping me to determine the best course of action for our vehicle and went above and beyond in trying to help us out with our situation. Extremely professional, yet personal and very helpful in every step of the process for us. If there was a way to rate with six stars, I would do so.

Do yourself a favor and do not come to this mechanic unless you want people who clearly don’t know how to fix vehicles ruin your car and make you pay for the damage that they caused. Here is my experience: I called this business regarding a rear brake job I knew I needed based on reports from two other mechanics. They said they could do it, but that they required me to have a brake “inspection” for $70 that would be applied to the job if I proceeded with the service. That was the first red flag since the website clearly states that they do free inspections. Second red flag was that I was required to drop the car off for essentially the entire day for them to just look at the brakes however they told me that they would be able to do them the same day after they did their inspection. On the paperwork when I dropped off the vehicle I requested it to be done by noon. Noon came around and I still had not heard from the company. I called them and they said that they were just finishing up with the inspection and someone would be in touch soon. Nobody called. I received a text with a link to an inspection stating I needed the brakes and two other expensive jobs. When I called and spoke to them I was told that even though the inspection said I needed this work I didn’t actually need it. That was the third red flag. Since my car was there, I allowed them to do the brakes. At 5 o’clock I still had not heard from them. I called to ask if the vehicle was done at which point they asked me if I needed the vehicle back that day. I asked why knowing that a brake job doesn’t take 4+ hours and they said that there was an “issue” that they wanted to review with someone tomorrow. I asked them what the issue was and instead of telling me, he said that he would have a service advisor call me in the morning…big big big red flag. I was so taken off guard I didn’t insist for them to explain what was going on. We called them back at which point they stated that the check engine light was now on. Knowing that the check engine light had never been on before I was extremely upset however, I didn’t know what choice I had since they clearly caused the issue. The following morning no one called me when they opened up. Eventually, I was able to get in touch with them at which point they stated that my “cheapest option” was to change the battery. They said they didn’t know what was wrong, but that this COULD clear the codes and that and if it did then they would just charge me for the battery and if it didn’t, we’d have to “go from there”. Obviously, I was very upset that the mechanic who caused an issue on my car didn’t seem to have any clue how to fix the problem that they caused and wanted me to pay for things to TRY to fix the problem that they caused. Feeling that I had no choice but to proceed since the car was now damaged I allowed them to change the battery which was only two years old with a 36 month warranty from another business. They said that this cleared the codes and that I had to pay for the new battery however they weren’t going to charge the $40 labor. Which isn’t a deal when I didn’t need a new battery until they drained it with their incompetence and when you can get one installed for free at AutoZone. What a disgrace of a business. Save yourself the trouble of going to these unethical people.
My car engine appeared to have died and it required diagnostic testing to confirm this. The communication between us was superb and I was aware of the procedure and the time-line. The diagnostic tests determined that the engine had died and they provided an estimate for the repairs. They also waved the cost for the diagnostic tests, even after I was unable to utilize their services. I was very pleased and grateful for their expertise, professionalism, integrity and kindness 😊 Masterworks easily earned 5 🌟
Rating is 10+++. Jason and Nate were extremely nice, did not use any pressure tactics, were very transparent with photos (sent to my phone) and kept me informed. I felt they were very reliable and honest and I will trust them with my car for any future needs. As a woman, honesty, transparency and respect go a long way in making me feel comfortable. And as a side note, due to the storm, I requested picking up my car at a later date which they totally understood and Nate assisted in helping me move the car. Both individuals were very pleasant to deal with. I left knowing I found the right mechanics for my car.
