I did vigorous research on several companies in the area after I refinanced my home so l could remodel it. I picked Exceptional Exteriors to do everything on the outside; roof, gutters, siding, fascia, and soffit. I chose them because they had great references and provided me with an address of a property they were doing a similar renovation on in real time. I drove by and checked out the work before deciding to go with them. I was impressed with the details. Their salesperson's ability to coordinate all of it was spectacular. I never felt in the dark and the game plan was followed through with precision. I hope to never do such a large remodel again, but if I were to / wouldn't need to search ever again. I'd choose Exceptional Exteriors.

I cannot recommend Exceptional Exteriors Chicago enough! Exceptional Exteriors stood out from the very first call. Steve came out promptly for the inspection and took the time to thoroughly explain our options without any pressure. Their team handled the entire insurance claim process smoothly and professionally — something that can be incredibly stressful. They worked directly with our insurance adjuster and made sure we received the full coverage we were entitled to. The workmanship on our new roof (and siding on part of the house) was outstanding. The crew was respectful, clean, and efficient. They protected our landscaping and left the property spotless every day. The final result looks fantastic, and we feel confident our home is now properly protected for years to come. After the hailstorm in our area, many salespeople knocked on our door and left brochures. Mike was the only one who actually showed us the damage to our siding and was willing to get up on our steep roof. Knowing the business owner was also the salesperson put our minds at ease. He knew what he was talking about, clearly explained what needed to be done (new roof, new siding, new window wraps, new garage door, new gutters), and did it. Our insurance company has not been easy to work with, but with Mike's persistence, repeated calls, photos, and coaching, our insurance payout was higher than originally anticipated. He was at our house the day the agent arrived, explained all of the insurance statements, and shared the step-by-step process. Forty years of homeownership, and this was our first claim. We were relieved to have such capable guidance. Honestly, we don't know how we would've gotten through the insurance system without Mike! The roof, siding, and gutter teams were hardworking, friendly, tidy, and respectful. We came to trust them as much as we did Mike. We have five different levels on our roof and complicated walls on our two-story house to be sided. Each was a big job that took several weeks to complete. Regardless of the heat, the guys came each morning with smiles on their faces and worked very hard until dark, with only a lunch break. They took pride in their work, and it showed! Our house has truly been transformed from top to bottom! Exceptional Exteriors is aptly named. From start to finish, all of our exterior needs have been taken care of exceptionally! I highly recommend Mike and his expert teams! I've included before-and-after photos.
Exceptional Exteriors was absolutely fantastic!! Mike, helped fight against my insurance company to get my roof, gutters & siding fully approved. His associate Brittanie was fantastic with communications throughout the job. I consider both Mike & Brittanie my friends because they not only helped me get all of this work replaced but they actually showed me they care about their customers & treat every individual customer with their own individual care. Steve & Antonio who ordered my materials were extremely helpful with coordinating the delivery of everything. Their team seems like one big family & I trust them to the fullest!!! My roof, gutters & siding are TOP NOTCH, it looks so good, I was so happy with the work I wanted to tell all my neighbors!!! Highly highly highly recommend!!!!
