The Federal Galley was a happy discovery as we made our way to the New Hazlett Theater for The Jury Experience. On-street parking and a nearby garage make parking easy and accessible. Inside the Federal Galley, there are lots of food vendors to choose from. We enjoyed food and beverages from three vendors and the order, payment, and food delivery were flawless. Prices were in-line with other downtown restaurants and food quality was outstanding. The experience of this area, though, is where they shine. The music is lively and the space exemplifies outdoor-indoor living. After we ate inside, we moved outdoors to enjoy the beautiful structures and turf. We finished our drinks and appreciated the nearby recycling (i.e., for our glass bottles). This community live-work-eat space is a Pittsburgh jewel.
The federal galley is a great place to go and dine. There are so many things that they have to offer that are versatile. You won’t run out of choices. It’s a great place to take your kids. The food is great. The ambience is excellent. The entire environment is so warm and welcoming. Good for date night also, or if you wanna take the whole family, I would highly suggest taking your family your workmates, maybe be friends or a date or your children to eat here.

Happy hour makes the drinks affordable but otherwise, pretty expensive. It's fun choosing from the concepts but don't order the strawberry basil margarita. No taste of basil and a horrible chalky taste like it was a sugar-free mix...but I enjoy sugar free mixes, so not sure how to explain it. My chicken greek salad from Triple S cafe was delicious! I'll still come back but I'll avoid the strawberry basil margarita.
Good happy hour deals/cocktails, however the drinks seem to be christmas based and it's april, they were still tasty though. There are a decent amount of food options to choose from too.
Touristy high end food court - a big selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads, bar food kind of fare. You order at a counter or online and they bring food to your table. For what it is, the prices are very reasonable. My burger was good - seemed freshly made. There is an actual bar with good selection of beers. It is a big open space so a little noisy.
