Our AC went out last night. The blower motor in the air handler wouldn't come on. No worries, we're under parts warranty since we had the entire system replaced a little over 4.5 years ago. The tech stopped by this morning and diagnosed the fault. The blower motor was in fact bad and needed replaced. We figured labor would be somewhere in the $300-$400 range. Imagine the shock when we were quoted $1,175 in labor to replace a blower motor. I spoke with the tech and asked how that can be justified. The tech was reading from a preprinted quote guide and said that's the rate for a level 3 warranty repair. While the tech did a good job, we feel that Collins Comfort Masters took advantage of a senior couple with the OUTRAGOUS labor charged to replace a blower motor. Be aware of what they sell you up front, they’ll get you with a warranty repair on labor. Needless to say, if we have an additional AC related issue, we will NOT be contacting Collins Comfort Masters. The receipt isn’t even detailed and states the homeowner is responsible for the tech to go pick up a part, as well as other caveats. We believe that Collins pretty much screwed us!!
I recently had my six-month service completed on my reverse osmosis system, and I want to recognize that the technician who came out did an excellent job. He arrived on time, was very professional, and completed the work efficiently. The service itself was exactly what I expect. For context, I have been a customer of this company for well over 25 years. The reverse osmosis system currently in my home is actually the third generation unit they have installed for me over the years, and the service technicians have consistently been knowledgeable and professional. However, about a week before this most recent service appointment, I received a notice that the price of my annual service contract would be increasing by 37.98%. That is a fairly substantial jump. In fairness to the company, they have not raised prices in many years, so an adjustment was probably inevitable. That said, increasing the rate by nearly 38% all at once is difficult for customers to absorb. In my opinion, smaller incremental increases over time would be easier for long-time customers to plan around and manage. I value the quality of the technicians and the service itself, but I do hope management takes a closer look at how pricing adjustments are handled going forward. As a long-time customer, I will certainly be paying close attention to how rates are managed when my annual plan renews next year.

We recently had a water softener presentation from Collins Comfort, and we were thoroughly impressed. Our sales representative, Tyrel Potter, was fantastic from start to finish. He was incredibly professional, punctual, and knowledgeable about water quality issues. Instead of a high-pressure sales pitch, Tyrel gave us an educational and eye-opening demonstration. He tested our water on the spot, clearly explained what the results meant, and showed us exactly how a water softener would benefit our home and appliances. He answered all of our questions with patience and honesty. If you are considering a water treatment system, we highly recommend Collins Comfort. Be sure to ask for Tyrel Potter if you want an informative, stress-free, and top-tier experience!
Collins Comfort Masters came out to inspect the electrical in the house I'm buying. They said everything was okay, just a few things could be upgraded. I'm working on getting a bid from them to do the work. Their service reps and schedulers are awesome – super nice and kind. I spoke with Nadia, and she was great. I highly recommend them.
We had our air conditioning units (2 Lennox 5 Ton Elite Series units) replaced by Collins Comfort Masters. The team- Jared, Taylor, Silvano, Garrett, and Jamahl worked diligently throughout the day and was able to replace our units in a very professional and efficient manner. The team was directed by Daryl in planning and setting up the best possible solution for a not so easy installation and setup. We were pleased with the work and the results this thoughtful team was able to do. Many thanks to Collins Comfort Masters !
