We had an excellent experience with A Better Roofing Co. in replacing the roof on our 100 year old home in West Seattle. Starting with the sales experience with Alan, who was extremely helpful and responsive. He answered all of our questions and priced out several options for us. We got other bids, but frankly, other companies were not responsive to answering our questions, or pricing out the option we were interested in. Christian in the office and Alex managing the work in the field were both excellent too. The crew showed up on time on the scheduled "re-roof" day, and were efficient in all the tear off of the old, repairs to damaged sheathing and installing the proper underlayment and flashing before installing the new roof. Everything was done in one day. Replacement vents and flashings were durable metal, not cheap plastic. The crew fully cleaned up, leaving our home and yard like it was before they arrived. My wife and I have worked with several contractors over the years and A Better Roofing Co is one of the best managed we have ever seen. We highly recommend them.
I cannot rave enough about my experience with this company. I will recommend them to anyone who needs any roof work. A different company had come out before them to give a quote and it was a nightmare. It was hours of dealing with someone trying to high pressure sell me a shockingly overpriced and very vague bid while he crawled all over the house taking pictures and measurements and making it seem like my house was a lost cause if I don't sign for them to start work the next morning. It was so unnecessary and stressful. A Better Roofing came, talked to me and took measurements from the ground for about 20 minutes then quickly sent a detailed quote and information about material choices. We ended up needing a complete replacement on both our shop and house. They were able to get me scheduled not long after and did an amazing job. The price was good and the work was excellent. Their crew was incredible to watch with how fast and efficient they were. They were careful to protect things like landscaping and our A/C unit, caught debris in tarps and did a detailed sweep and cleanup after. Needing an unanticipated new roof is never ideal but this company made an already unpleasant and stressful situation so much more manageable and calm. I appreciate them so much.

Great experience from start to finish. They were very prompt on responding to my bid request, and the price was very fair. The product they installed was good quality. They started early in the morning and finished up the whole job in one day. Excellent in cleanup and follow-up. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.
Excellent job with the roof installation. A great team that performed high quality installation. Not only was the roof well installed, but they made sure to clean up everything around the house so no loose nails or parts. If I ever need another roof installed or repaired, I’ll definitely come back to them!
Came highly recommended by other contractors outside of the roofing industry and even competitors passed after seeing their bid. Finished the slam dunk with extremely efficient, coordinated and highly competent work. NEVER pressed me about payment or for payment. I happily paid and considered tipping… They ended up being that good.
