I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Everything was so delicious and freshly made. Service was excellent, the place has a fun personality. Sorry for the partial appetizer picture things were smelling so good that I couldn’t wait!
Visited this place recently with friends and had a great experience. Food was flavorful overall - roti canai was the standout (we ordered it multiple times!), and the Singapore mei fun had nice smoky flavors. Chili crisp cucumbers were also a hit. That said, a few dishes missed the mark: the crispy tofu bites were too dry, and the veg spring rolls were quite oily. For drinks, the sake flight was better than the whisky flight. Thai iced tea (including the spiked version) and the matcha lychee lemonade were both really good. Dessert options were limited, but the chili vanilla (with roti and ice cream) was unique and enjoyable. Loved the table games like Jenga and tic-tac-toe, great for hanging out with friends. Staff were friendly, attentive, and caring, which made the visit even better.

I’m the type of person that will definitely frequent a place if the vibe is right. My Hubby and I came to Hawkers the first time for my bday last month. Cam and the Manager on duty took good care of us. We ate good and the drinks were a hit!! Fast forward to today and we decided to have an anniversary lunch. Round 2! Again the food did NOT disappoint!! Chinese bbq bao buns and sticky ribs ARE LIFEEEE!!! Our waitress Brittany was sweet and was able to get my drink made that’s no longer on the menu!! Thanks to the manager for the sweet card and gift card!! We’ll be back!!
Overall, I liked it, and I could see why others love it. Bright, Asian street vibe that fits Deep Ellum. Solid food options, but I was bummed that my first choices were not available due to lack of ingredients (at 6 PM on a weekday). Sake bombs are a good value, too, but no draft beer options.
We visited this location about a week and half ago before a concert at the Bomb Factory. We flew in to Dallas Lovefield and were super indecisive about where we wanted to go before the concert. We went back and forth, BBQ, Mexican, or something different. Im not gonna lie...We ended up calling up ChatGPT because neither my wife or I could decide. But I am so glad it suggested this place. We got the WonTons, Basil Fried Rice, and Spiced Lamb Udon.... and everything impressed from the first bite to the last! Cozy casual atmosphere was a plus, customer service was on point and friendly without being too much. 10/10 recommend! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
