Highly Recommend Luke’s Auto (UA) - Outstanding Service! I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Luke’s Auto in Upper Arlington this morning. Dennis and Kevin are absolute professionals. They were incredibly accommodating, highly knowledgeable, and made the entire process seamless. What sets them apart is the speed and transparency of their process. They provided an incredibly detailed, comprehensive digital breakdown of my vehicle's needs, complete with photos and videos, so I knew exactly what was going on before approving any work. No guesswork, no pressure, just honest, top-tier service. If you want a shop that is quick, communicative, and values your time, ask for Dennis or Kevin. I’ll definitely be back!
I stopped by a couple of weeks ago when I noticed that my breaks were not working. I was able to drop off my car and had a Lyft called for me which was very much appreciated! Jonathan was very open about the costs and did his best to find the most affordable option for repair while making sure that my car would be drivable and on working condition. I truly appreciate how kind and understanding this location was and now my brakes are working better than before!

I have had multiple great experiences at Luke's Auto! When I had mentioned how my car was louder than usual, they were quick to help me out. Offering a test drive and quick inspection, they were able to localize the issue. Following a detailed estimate and breakdown of issues recognized, price, and severity / urgency. Great communication from Jason and the whole team, made it super easy to understand with honest feedback and clarity.
Luke’s on Reed Road is as close to a friendly, competent straight shooting garage as you will find today. There are so many first time mechanics doing work under mediocre supervision around today that it is great being able to discuss and evaluate the condition of the truck with these guys. They are very professional yet also willing to talk about all the grey areas of car care with me. That is much appreciated. Highly recommended.
Not great. We had it towed in with a bad starter. I figured with the great reviews,we would be safe. Not so much. The labor rate is 180 an hour. The part was jacked up which if it was a manufacturer part, I would understand but its not. The 1 hour its supposed to take, is 1.5. So a 500 job turns into 700 plus a diagnostic that was overkill. When I questioned all this, I was told they need to keep the lights on. And since my soulmate is a mechanic, I would say we knew exactly what it should have cost. So my daughter ended up with a massive bill. I was two hours away and helpless to pull it out. Did they take advantage of the situation? Yes they did. Itemized bill was blob amounts so not itemized. Wrong move for us.
