We spent our anniversary weekend here for a weekend in downtown. The hotel and service were very nice and accommodating. Recommend valet if you can, they were friendly and prompt also keeping your car in a safer area. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The place itself was very nicely decorated with good flow giving a higher end feel. Restaurants on main level and nice roof top bar we visited. We booked the deluxe suite and was happy with our choice overall. Room was spacious clean and nicely laid out with large sitting area and bathroom. Comfortable beds and plenty space to enjoy with 2 tvs, coffee station and lounge area. The only complaint is the location. None of this should count against hotel itself as more the downtown area but for small town people such as us it was not very safe feeling area. Located across from a bus depot and not far from monument circle the amount of homeless and filth such as trash and possible feces on the sidewalk forced me to give location a 3 but again not against hotel its self. Plenty of restaurants were near by also. The hotel felt safe and did a great job of keeping their property clean. Overall I would stay here again as we truly enjoyed our time in hotel Indy.
I really wanted to like Hotel Indy, but unfortunately this stay was a disappointment. I'll start with the positives. I was grateful to be able to check in early, which made my travel day much easier. The rooftop lounge was definitely the highlight of the property. The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were excellent. The fitness center was also surprisingly nice and well-equipped. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. The associate who checked me in was not particularly welcoming and came across as rushed and dismissive. As a Marriott Platinum Elite Lifetime member, I was surprised that my status was never acknowledged, and no upgrade options were discussed. The room itself was extremely small—much smaller than I expected—and it never seemed to cool down. Despite adjusting the thermostat, we could not get the air conditioning to make the room comfortable. One of my biggest concerns was the location. I selected Hotel Indy because it appeared to be close to several restaurants we wanted to visit, but I was not prepared for how uncomfortable I felt walking around the immediate area. While others may have a different experience, I personally did not feel particularly safe exploring on foot near the hotel. I was also disappointed that the hotel's restaurant was only serving breakfast during our Sunday stay, limiting on-site dining options. Thankfully, the rooftop lounge was open for dinner and drinks and provided a much better experience. Overall, Hotel Indy has a few bright spots—particularly the rooftop lounge and fitness center—but between the disappointing service, tiny room, ineffective air conditioning, and concerns about the surrounding area, it is not a property I would choose again on a future visit to Indianapolis.

First time ever staying here at this hotel absolutely loved it. Me and my husband had the best time of our life here, The top bar on the top of the roof is amazing. The DJ is cool. The room is super nice. Clean service was great. The food was amazing. Drinks were amazing hotel stay was very nice and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely will come back.
First time coming here, front desk staff were extremely nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room had everything you could need, coffee, chocolate, very clean. This is definitely a high end place. Very sophisticated vibe. The price is also a really good deal for the quality of stay.
The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. You can tell that both the day and night shift front desksers take pride in their jobs. My first room was on a high floor right under the rooftop bar and facing the street so it was pretty noisy, which didn’t coincide with my work schedule very well. (The bar does have a hard 1 AM shutdown so you can count on that either way). Omar and Sandy were very happy to find me a quieter room and even took me to check it out before I moved. The breakfast is tasty and the rooms are clean. It’s a 2-3 minute walk to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Can’t beat that. I’d stay again.
