Toulouse Petite Kitchen was an outstanding dining experience. The Columbia River King Salmon Creole style and the French Vietnamese Halibut with asparagus were both exceptional — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and some of the best seafood dishes I’ve had. The service was very good, with a friendly and attentive staff that helped make the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, although it was a little on the loud side. Overall, the creative cuisine, excellent seafood, and great service made this a memorable meal. Highly recommend Toulouse Petite Kitchen for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience.
We had today lunch at Toulouse Petit Kitchen and it was great. We ordered a bunch from the menu, from the onion soup, clams and lamb burger to steaks, kids meals and salad. They had an extensive brunch menus including different kinds of egg Benedict’s. All of them were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and she arranged beignets for one of our group member’s birthday. The lounge section is allowed only for those over 21 years old and there were street parking options.

Visiting from the Midwest this place had a good review score and was close to our hotel. Unfortunately the experience wasn't what we were expecting. The interior walls and tables are lined with lit candles. It was 70 degrees outside. The front door was open, the A/C was off and the 200+ candles for "ambiance" made it feel 80 degrees inside. The menu is so large, it's a 10-15 min read for first timers. Some say a large variety is a good thing, some might argue the complexity is overwhelming. If the food blew our socks off I wouldn't even be writing this. But the best dishes in our group were the pasta ones. The seafood portions were surprisingly small for the price, and the French onion soup (which I always order everywhere) with their "cave aged gruyere" for $16.50 was a 3/10. Service could have been better at these prices. Especially at 20% gratuity for parties of 6 or more plus a "living wage" tax. Maybe they were understaffed for a Sunday 7 pm dinner service. I'm not one to trash a place, but I feel their score doesn't represent our expectations nor our experience. Maybe an early dinner on a weekday in winter is a completely different experience. I'll just never know.
What a remarkable find. From the moment we arrived, the experience was truly five stars. The staff welcomed us warmly, setting a positive tone for the entire evening. The atmosphere was inviting and well-appointed, offering a comfortable balance of energy and refinement. The menu is impressively extensive, with thoughtfully curated options that ensure there is something for every palate. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic dish or something more adventurous, the variety and quality stand out. The wine list is equally notable, featuring a well-rounded selection that complements the menu beautifully, and the cocktails are crafted with precision and creativity. Service throughout our visit was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Each interaction made it clear that the team takes pride in creating a memorable dining experience. Overall, this is a place that exceeds expectations in every category. A true gem worth revisiting.
This restaurant was so overpriced and overrated. $40 entrees and sports playing on TV’s at the bar? There were two huge menus that were honestly quite confusing to navigate, and I couldn’t tell if I looked at all my options or not. They could definitely use a re-design. Food wise- The shrimp and grits were both so overcooked I could not finish them. The grits were so overdone you couldn’t taste anything but cheese and were so overdone there was no texture. Shrimp were over cooked and did not taste seasoned. The duck wasn’t bad, not moist but good- brussels sprouts were so underdone and tough. The oysters were great for the happy hour price- $1.50 each. Overall- I would not come back here. If you are used to Southern seafood or Cajun in general, you will be disappointed.
