My wife and I had a wonderful week at The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites while celebrating our wedding anniversary and while our son attended the Berklee Film, TV, and Game Scoring summer program hosted by the Colburn School. Since he was staying on campus, we wanted a hotel nearby where we could relax and enjoy our time together in downtown Los Angeles, and The Westin Bonaventure was the perfect choice. I especially want to recognize Front Desk Manager Lourdes Luna for providing exceptional service at check-in. We had two separate reservations, and she took the time to make sure they were properly connected so we could remain in the same suite for our entire stay. That level of care and attention made our anniversary week even more enjoyable and completely stress-free. I'd also like to thank Mario Castillo in Finance for quickly resolving a small billing discrepancy. He handled everything professionally, responded promptly, and made the process effortless. The hotel itself was excellent. Our suite was comfortable, the location was perfect for everything we had planned, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the food at the Lobby Court, and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start each morning. This trip gave us the chance to celebrate a special milestone together while supporting our son as he pursued his passion for film and game scoring. The Westin Bonaventure helped make it a memorable week from beginning to end. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in Los Angeles. The photos include a couple shots from the hotel's exterior glass elevators, which provide amazing views of downtown Los Angeles and the surrounding mountains.

I had a great stay at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. The lounge was majestic and had a relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect place to chill. The breakfast was good and tasty, although I would have liked to see a wider variety of choices. One of the highlights of the hotel was the elevators. They are incredibly fast and offer amazing views of the city, . Our room was also excellent it was very big, comfortable, and had a fantastic view. the staff is very nice and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
My family and I stayed for 7 nights at Westin Bonaventure. The hotel is located in a very convenient location downtown across from the central library. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the hotel gave us $15 meal vouchers and 2 free drinks each day for paying the destination fee. The hotel also graciously waived the early check-in fee for us for being Marriott Bonvoy members. My main complaint with the hotel is that it lists its address on Figuero street, but the entrance on that side of the hotel is completely locked with no access unless someone has a guest keycard. It was impossible for first time guests to get in on the listed address of the hotel. There were no signage or explanations anywhere that the public entrance is on the other side of the building on Flower Street. The hotel should provide better signage and information.
I stayed 6-7th May and here is my review: 1. Initially our tour group booking had booked my husband and I in a room with separate beds (this is our honeymoon) and we requested a queen or king bed, they did manage to find us a room with a king bed which I'm very appreciative of. 2. Breakfast buffet average but wait staff not very attentive, tried to ask for cream for the coffee but it never came. 3. Rooms were clean, spacious, but all amenities removed - I don't know when hotels started doing this but it's not a first. 4. I called for room service to order a wine via their QR code, paid $17+ tips USD- it never came! 5. I asked guest services about the charges on check out, and got reassurance a couple times that it was removed. It was not removed, I was charged. 6. Tried calling the hotel to follow this up the phone rang out twice. 7. Tried to email but can't find an email address eventually took me to the parent company, Marriott BonVoy where I barely found the link and submitted my concerns. Let's see if I get my money back. Overall experience - average - it could have been better. Being charged for something I didn't have leaves a bit of an unpleasant impression and unlikely to recommend this to others.
I had a work trip and thankfully decided to stay here. I was a little nervous based on the location, but my fears were quickly squashed when I pulled up. Walking into the foyer was a great experience since it is so open and you have all the ambiance. The staff were extremely friendly, and I was blown away since I was able to check into my room significantly early. The room was small but well laid out. I broke protocol and decided to work out in the gym on the third floor. The gym was very nice, had a great selection of cardio and workout machines, and was very well stocked with towels and water. It was a little of a pain to discover but easy to get back too once you knew where to go. I would advise eating at the breakfast buffet since the food choices were fantastic and the service was great. My only complaint was the cable in the room kept having connection issues, but I didn’t see that as a major problem. Overall, this is a very nice place, and I would like to stay here again.
