I've used Adam on several occasions, and he continues to provide excellent service and he is really pleasant to boot! With the current spring hot weather, we were experincing some issues with our AC unit shutting off repeatedly. I gave him a call late this morning and he was able to run up to the UCity by early afternoon to get us up and running. He also helped us reconnect our phones to our Nest thermostats. I could not reccommend Adam enough to get your heat or air fixed is a timely manner with excellent results.
I needed someone to satisfy a buyer (his financier, his appraiser, his agent, etc.) that my HVAC's "short cycle" problem was repaired. ADAM aka "Mr. Freon" (the entire company) said it didn't have a "short cycle problem" but spent no time in my attic with the furnace (he didn't want to get dirty, he was in a hurry to get to another job, and was not willing to sign anything or make a report saying that a "short cycle problem" didn't exist. However, he did say I needed A LOT of FREON (a job that would have cost me hundreds while he kept his hands clean and it wouldn't fix the REAL problem). I wisely declined - this literally infuriated him. I gave up when he did not answer my texts and H I R E D R E A L H V A C T E C H N I C I A N S that GOT IN MY ATTIC, GOT DIRTY, and FIXED the SHORT CYCLE PROBLEM!!! Then they wrote a FULL REPORT for the buyer's agent! You have been warned about Mr. Freon! - I did my part - now it is on you!

Adam and City Heating and Air is a reliable and extremely trustworthy Heating and Air company in Charlotte. I have been using City Heating and Air since I moved to Charlotte in 2005. Adam has done both small and large jobs for my family and has executed well. He always educates us well as we consider whether to repair or replace parts so that we understand the trade offs. My family is extremely thankful for Adam and know that when we do have maintenance or repairs that we are in good hands!
Adam was very professional and patient in explaining the issues I had with my AC unit. He was very responsive and efficient with the job. I definitely recommend his services and will contact him again for any future concerns.
Highly recommend. Adam is knowledgeable and efficient in the work that he does. Our AC had been out for 4 weeks with multiple companies in and out of our unit. Adam came in, immediately knew the issue and resolved within 48 hours. We will definitely be using them in the future.
