I’d be happy to recommend this plumbing company to anyone. They responded to my call quickly, showed up on time, and did an outstanding job on the plumbing work in my home, including my sinks and other maintenance. Their workmanship was excellent, everything was done professionally, and they stand behind their work with a 100% warranty, which gave me great peace of mind. It’s hard to find a company that is this reliable, honest, and responsive. This has been the best plumbing service I’ve ever experienced. I just had Henry and Jesse come over to my condo to help me out with a leaking dishwasher... these guys were rockstars! They gave me a courtesy call and were here on time to the minute! Total professionals as soon as they entered the door, asking about my shoe policy and just pleasant people! As I fumbled around to find my dishwasher literature, they already had it pulled up and were running an initial cycle to troubleshoot the problem. Within minutes Henry diagnosed the problem, the two excused themselves to grab a few tools and were back in moments... it couldn't have been more than 10 minutes and they had resolved the problem and were running a cycle to verify their work. They gave me some additional feedback on what may have caused the issue, how to avoid it in the future, and then proceeded to humor me by answering a few unrelated questions I had about my washer. Great guys and great experience! This is now my second time dealing with the Bob Oates team and both times have been a great experience... Local, first rate service, and family owned; I'd recommend them to anyone! Whether you're a GC or a homeowner, having a great plumber in your Rolodex is a must; Bob Oates is my go to and should be yours as well!

Cannot express how amazing this experience was! We needed a new liner to our 1928 sewer line, which is no small project. Prescott gave us an honest, timely, and thorough estimate (which was hands down less than other estimates), and he was available throughout the entire job. The entire team was amazing - they are able to problem solve, they showed up on time, and the work was exceptional. Would recommend them 100% and any future plumbing needs I will call Bob Oates!!
Sergio was dispatched right away for a drainage problem in a downstairs bathroom causing water to backup in a tub. It was discovered that root intrusion was in the main line. Fortunately, the cable was able to break up most of the roots. Future preventative measures were discussed that would result in more costly repairs. However, there was no pressure and they offered to contact me at no additional cost in six months to determine if the roots had returned. They were very professional and pleasant. Sergio even kindly offered to caulk the base of the upstairs toilet. The need for a plumber comes with homeownership. Although unexpected, I felt the cost was reasonable. It is a relief when a company charges what needs to be done and doesn’t add unnecessary costs.
I’m new to Seattle, so I didn’t know who call for plumbing work. Thankfully, someone in my condo building had put up a recommendation for Bob Oates Plumbing. Konrad came out today to give me a bid, and his thoroughness and insight about my plumbing issue was impressive. He also took time for a quick fix that will now help me make good decisions about some potential remodeling. I have more plumbing work to be done, so I’m really glad to have found a friendly, reputable plumber to work with.
