I've dealt with plenty of mechanics over the years, and it's tough to find ones who are truly trustworthy and honest. A national chain recently told me my Q7 needed work, so I got a second opinion from Larchmere Imports (I had to pay a diagnostics fee) and I'm so glad I did. Working with Riley was a real pleasure. He was upfront, fair on pricing, responsive, and didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. I've now brought both my Audi Q7 and Toyota Prius to Larchmere Imports, and they've handled everything perfectly. I'll only be bringing my cars here from now on. Thanks Riley.
Longtime customer, brought many Audi/BMW/Lexus cars for service and repairs. Exceptional service at competitive prices. If you seek a high quality alternative to the dealer, your search is over.

I had a great experience with Larchmere Imports. Jacob was very kind and accommodating, and was able to fix my car the next day. He also went above and beyond by helping arrange a ride to and from the shop to my work, making my experience top notch. I got my car back, and it is running great- I feel confident the issue is resolved, and I will definitely get my VW serviced there again the future.
Larchmere is the best! We have two aging BMW's that are in excellent condition. We just moved here from California where we had superb service in Beverly Hills and San Francisco. Larchmere is every bit as good, but much more personal. We both feel that John, Jacob and the others at Larchmere are very knowledgeable and accessible to the layperson, and that the technicians do excellent work. They give you the bottom line in terms you can understand and are extremely accommodating in all things. John recently searched long and hard to find suitable replacement wheels for our 2003 BMW which had become corroded and damaged. The new/lightly used wheels are now installed and our car looks just as it did when we bought it! John did an excellent job finding the appropriate wheels. We are very happy and grateful for the care Larchmere took on our behalf. We very recently needed to fix the stabilizers on our 2003 as well as several other things that were not evident to us. As always, Larchmere carefully explained what would be required and why and how much each item cost before commencing the repairs. We authorized the repairs. They were done expeditiously and the car was detailed, at our request. When we picked it up, it looked brand new!!!!! We highly recommend them and will refer people to them
Some time back, got an estimate of about ~$2,000 to have some work done to my car and was told it would take no more than a couple days to complete the work. It took 8 days and the final bill was $4,900. I wasn't happy with the length of time to do the work and the spike in the price, but to this shop's defense the car was repaired for the time being. They also did give me a neat loaner (a Volvo XC70) while the work was done and the interaction with Roxy the Standard Poodle made up for the downsides. Lastly, clean shop and the owner as well as other employees will take time to speak to you, allow you to see your car while it's getting worked on and you may even get a small discount at the end. Overall, my experience here led to me realizing Volkswagen/Audi (while extremely fun to drive) sucks as an auto brand when it comes to engine reliability because a little over a year after this work was done, the whole engine went. Returned to the Honda/Acura brand and only go to dealers now for maintenance. Not the best, but not the worst, I'll give this shop more stars than not 3/5.
