This is our 3rd stay at the Polaris Holiday Inn, and we'll keep coming back whenever we're in Columbus. The staff is the friendliest and most helpful of any hotel we've stayed in, including 4 star resorts. Extra special recognition to Emmanuel and Francine for helping us with an early check-in, room swap(lesson learned to book directly instead of through a 3rd party), and helped us with coordinating anything else we possibly needed. The huge swimming pool with slide and a few other fun water features is all the kids cared about, and probably where you'll be spending quite a bit of time too. 100% recommend for a staycation if full size waterpark rides aren't your thing.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they truly went above and beyond for my family . Rooms were spacious and clean. My daughter loved the pool. I would recommend, especially for families.

Del at the front desk was our first experience and he was pleasant and very professional. The entire hotel has been renovated and it really shows. Super clean and new smelling fresh. Beds were very comfy with different choice of pillows. Breakfast made the morning nice and relaxing with a great variety. We were staying two nights, but a very friendly staff member of house keeping still asked us as we were leaving for the day if we wanted a room refresh. Normal I'm sure for each day, but the politeness stood out. Great staff connection throughout our stay. Will stay again!
We had a great time and wanted to give a positive review for Alirio especially. We went to breakfast this morning and my kids were talking about the guy who was restocking all the breakfast food. They were joking about how he must have superpowers because before anyone even knew that the cinnamon rolls were out he was refilling them. Then that continued with fruit, milk, and juice. Alirio had everything ready! My other son was skeptical he had superpowers and said he probably just studies a lot for his job. 😆 I asked this super employee his name and he told me it is Alirio. Make sure to keep him and treat him right. Great staff means a great experience.
Hotel is really nice. Newly renovated rooms with the modern touches. They were currently renovating the lobby. We missed the breakfast in the morning however looks like lots of options available in a large space. Large pool good for kids of all ages. Located right near ikea , if you plan stopping. Lots of food options close.
