Met Blair through a friend so I’ve been giving this place my business the past few years. Does good work but will nickel and dime you to the point of no return. Had a T&P valve replaced, 30 minute job. Was charged $121.50 for a $67 part, also charged $5.98 for Teflon tape and $8.99 for pipe dope for a job with 2 threads. I thought the $121 was a mistake and called and was assured that was the MSRP for the part. Called Worley and was told otherwise. I was fine paying for the service charge and an hour of work for a quick job but getting overcharged on the parts and lied to I am not. I will be looking for a different company next time I need plumbing work.
They came highly recommended by an experienced plumber, I know. I trusted them enough to let them do the job unattended. I communicated clearly what I wanted, they took down all the details, and did an excellent job. And they did it for less than half of what I was quoted from Eco plumbers. It’s very nice to know you can still get excellent work at a fair price.

I called this plumbing service and explained the general area where the leak was coming from, the second-floor bathroom sink drain. I had already torn out the ceiling drywall to expose the pipes and drain. My request was for service to repair the drain leak only, and to reset the toilet with a new wax ring. The plumber arrived, and needed to open up a portion of a wall to expose the lavatory pipe the he discovered was the source of the leak. He then proceeded to point out all of the other plumbing that SHOULD be replaced in my home that was built in 1937. He spent a fair amount of time investigating plumbing that was not related to the actual leak or the repair of the leak. He said he had to do the extra labor, opening up additional ceiling areas so the estimator could see all of the old plumbing. Again, I did not request or want a quote for a complete plumbing rehab of the second floor bathroom, I told the plumber that was a guest bath and was infrequently used, but he persisted in telling me that an estimator would be in touch from the office, and that he didn’t have the three straight 8-hour days that it would take to fix the actual leak. So all in all, I was charged $388.00 and the invoice read “repairs” but in fact, nothing was repaired. The plumber showed up on time, and was courteous, but frankly it seemed like this particular repair was beyond his expertise. To be fair, the steal pipe that had deteriorated and broke away from the connection - the cause of the leak, was in a very tight space between floor joists and the wall. I had explained to the plumbing service during my original call that the home was built in 1937, and the business owner said he was familiar with homes in the area, and the variety of steel, cast iron and lead pipes existing in homes built during this time. Therefore, I assumed that whomever the company would send would be able to do the repairs instead of placing me in a queue to have an estimator come out to provide quotes on work that I never requested. I felt as though I was being “upsold”. I appreciate that if one had an unlimited budget perhaps there is wisdom in having all of the plumbing updated, but clearly that would be thousands of dollars! It wasn’t what I asked for, I just wanted the necessary work done to fix the leak.
We have used Your plumbing company since before the house was constructed! We are always satisfied that the job will be done properly. The last time we used you( just last week) You were out before noon to check on what could have been a major problem. Disaster averted! Thanks Fritz Bauman Plumbing!!
Fritz Baumann & Sons replaced my water service line after I found a leak in the old line. They were quick, professional, and very reasonably priced compared to the other quotes I received from larger companies. Brett came out and gave a quote quickly and was very transparent about the potential issues/costs that could pop up during the repair. They were able to complete the work in one day and communicated with me the entire time. I will definitely be calling them if I ever need similar services again!
