My husband and I came to this resort for some much-needed relaxation after the holidays (2025) and we haven’t even left yet—I’m already excited to write this review! Everyone has been incredibly hospitable, and the entire property is spotless. A special thank-you to Deborah and Christina at Jackrabbit Spa. We enjoyed a couples massage, and it was hands-down the best massage either of us has ever had. The experience was truly exceptional and made our stay even more memorable. We can’t wait to return to try the new resort spa. Highly recommend.
It has been my pleasure to have been a guest at Scottsdale camelback resort week 3 to week 8. I cant say enough for the entire staff at Scottsdale Camelback resort. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to make each guest feel welcomed, Freedom Meghan, Vanessa. Their communication skills and outgoing personalities makes dealing with the front desk a pleasurable experience. Leisure services takes so much time to communicate and greet each guest and let them know all the activities. Their professionalism is second to none. The Leisure service department is always ready with all the necessary equipment and activities needed to have a fun day. I noticed the attention to detail concerning following the rules of the resort. BRAVO to Learl and Devanie, and Ana! Housekeeping and Maintenance teams were always willing to accommodate me and my family whenever necessary. Steve was really nice and I couldn’t help but notice their dedication to keeping the resort in tippy top shape. KUDOS to the whole staff. Lastly, I enjoyed listening to the music outside on the pool deck each day. Great tunes and perfect volume. In closing, I would highly recommend this resort to everyone and anyone. A slice of heaven! Oh and thank you to the Spa coordinator Tyra for great chocolate.

First impressions are everything Vanessa was so nice and welcoming. Freedom on the other hand was not. Get to the room smells of cigars okay no big deal I lite candles. Rooms are extremely outdated. The controller to the television did not work. We stayed 4 days 3 nights and when asked for more washcloths etc. housekeeping stated they had to ask the front desk for permission to provide them 🤦🏽♀️ they also had nats flying around in our room. Massages were amazing! That was probably the best part! Overall nice location it was extremely quiet which was a plus because we came to reset for the new year. That’s pretty much it
Minding my business while building a business is pretty much my mantra and that keeps me traveling back to Scottsdale. If you’re going to visit Scottsdale during high season, this is your spot. You’ll get a very friendly group of staff ready to assist your needs, a well maintained property and spacious rooms, and the perfect location to be central to the most livable city all without the pricey tag of surrounding hotels. Had a work trip and I wasn’t needing anything like the Global Ambassador or Phoenician. I wanted clean rooms, kitchen and work space. We booked a two bedroom in Building D and loved it. I would probably request an upstairs unit next time. It’s like a private condo, including my heavy foot neighbor upstairs. Plenty of parking, even had a private patio to soak up the gorgeous weather during our visit. Maid service is available daily if you don’t put out your do not disturb card. I did notice I couldn’t find an iron to steam out my work outfits but shower steam works too. The other odd thing was the small pillows on the king bed. I would prefer kind size pillows for a more comfortable sleep. We didn’t have enough time to use the gym or pool but saw several guests getting their vitamin D. There is also a cute little market on site at the lobby if you need meds, wine, snacks. The Splash Bar has your usual offerings if you don’t want to explore the restaurant scene. I love being in the Camelback corridor because it’s close to my favorite eateries and just a few lights from Fashion Square and Old Town. Having to travel more to my old stomping ground, a good night sleep is a silent power move.
I exchanged my timeshare to stay here during the last week in December. After a great deal of reflection, I would say I have really mixed feelings about this resort. First the reception staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions when I checked-in. Actually, all the staff was nice here and helpful. They cleaned my unit in the middle of my stay. That was a nice perk. A lot of timeshares don't do that anymore. The location is very convenient to downtown Scottsdale, which is about a mile away. If you have any interest in hiking Camelback Mountain, the Cholla Trail is also a 15 minute walk from the resort. However, I did not like the design of the units and they really need to be updated. There were two beds and a pull-out sofa in the unit. One bed was upstairs like a loft and overlooked the downstairs part of the accommodation The stairs are steep and narrow to get to this bedroom. There is only only bathroom in the entire unit and that is downstairs. If you sleep upstairs then you have go downstairs to do your business. Crazy. However, if you sleep downstairs, you have to go upstairs occasionally because that is where the HVAC control panel is. Okay. The over-sided tubs in the bathroom should be removed and replaced with walk-in shower stalls. The tub is hard to step in and out of and it can be slippery. Water pressure was also very weak in the bathroom.
