ZERO stars. Do not hire. They prey on people who don’t know otherwise. I have a very bad financial history and am still in the process of paying off debts. One collection threatened to take me to court, which I didn’t receive notice about, but I did get a letter from this attorney office informing me on the case. Truthfully, I know very little about the law and these types of matters (which some may say is my problem but I don’t think it’s ethical to prey on the vulnerable) so I tried to do research and ultimately decided to go ahead with letting this office represent me. At the time I starting making payments I was due to give birth and knew I would be taking time off work but they assured me I could make payments to pay the retainer and they would work with me. Great! After a few weeks postpartum I had missed my payment and they called, texted and emailed several times about the payment. Eventually, I reached out to tell them I would just like to end representation because I was not going to be able to make payments since I wasn’t working at the time. On that phone call they connected me immediately with the leading attorney, I feel I was convinced and even made afraid of what could come if I didn’t stick with their representation. Again, I was a few weeks postpartum too so I was very emotional and even crying on the phone-call because I was so worried about money already with me taking time off, plus this attorney making up worse case scenario if I ended representation. So I agreed to continue with the case and I would make payments when I could. I ended up paying $660 for the full retainer over several months. The only work these attorneys did for me was send a response letter to the collector to inform them they would be representing me, which was sent after my first initial payment on retainer. I now have a better understanding of debts, credit etc and have been paying other debts in full to boost my credit the most. With my better understanding, I have decided to just pay my collection in full so I realized there was no point in having this office negotiate a settlement for me. I made my final payment Dec 18th and luckily they had not even started negotiations yet so I reached out to end representation and see if I could get any sort of refund. I called several times over 3 weeks and every time I was told who I needed to speak to was busy so I would get a call back either later that day or the next. I was told it was in their calendar to call me, so I would wait and wait. Wait even an extra day or two before trying to call again. This kept repeating for 3 weeks until my final call I was on hold for 7 minutes while the receptionist actually said she spoke with the leading attorney and was told to tell me to wait for a call back from him either “later that day or tomorrow.” That call was 4 days ago and I still have no received a call… now going on a month of trying to speak to someone. This is unprofessional and ill-intentioned. I just want to have a 5 minute conversation about a refund because all this office did was send a letter about representing me and they are giving me the run-around because they are “too busy.” Funny how before I gave my money and wanted to end I was on the phone immediately being convinced to continue making payments. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a paying customer. Do not give them your money!

Almost like stock brokers...They saw Rita filed something against me and before I even got mail from Rita they jipped me out of 750 something dollars making it sound like I was paying my rita bill. I turn around the same day saying I don't want representation I just wanted to pay my bill they refunded me only 541 dollars saying we have worked hours on my case even though I told the lady who took my card payment after the fact once I realized I wasn't actually paying on my rita bill I didn't need to guys. So a single letter costs me 209 dollars in only 15 mins. Then on top of it I'm battling with them to tell the Rita office they aren't representing me for the past 3 days so I can pay this damn bill....all they had to do is call them but nooo what could have been a simple 30 to 45 second call now I have to wait for another letter they sent out to tell Rita hey we aren't representing me anymore so I can pay my bill like I was trying to do the first time. I can't believe people really trust these guys
Very unprofessional and disorganized. After a call was disconnected, they could not even figure out who I had been speaking with, leaving me on hold for over 10 minutes. Their communication with clients is poor. They sent me a letter offering help, but when I called, I was told someone would call me back — which never happened. I had to reach out again myself. Overall, the lack of follow-through and organization was frustrating. I would not recommend based on my experience.
Update🚩🚩🚩...So its been almost 2 months now and I've decided not to move forward with this company. With me making only 2 payments of about $295, I didn't give them a chance to do any work for me. I let them know I wanted to cancel representation and would like a refund. They made me go through all these loops, even saying I had to do an exit interview. I did the interview, and even then, I was questioned as to why I want to cancel and why I should move forward. At this point, I'm feeling harassed because if I said I don't want to move forward and want my money back, it should just be that. I even went to their company in person to see why I hadn't received my refund. Still nothing. been going through this so-called process for almost a month now. When I first had the consultation, I was told the process would start immediately after the first initial payment. Here we are, a deposit and first payment in, and I have yet to hear from anyone. Mind you, I've completed the welcome package and turned in every document needed.
DO NOT HIRE! They prey on people who don't have many options. I hired them to litigate a existing judgment on my behalf, they failed to mention that they don't litigate in court. All they do is receive kickbacks from 3rd party collection agency's. I negotiated with my debt collector for almost half what they got!! If you do hire them, keep all your paperwork and communications..... The will loose it and then lie about it!
