I stayed here on a Monday night and was completely pleased with my stay. The lobby was quiet and clean with a nice convenience area with things for purchase. I don't know if it's crazier on weekends but there was no rowdiness or loud patrons which I appreciated. Parking lot was spacious and safe, it was shared with the hotel across the way. My room was above average, spacious with lots of room for luggage, desk space and seating. I really liked the TV in my room, it was quick to respond and had good channel options. I was in Detroit for work, and my boyfriend was with me this time but I would feel very safe staying at this hotel in the future even if I was by myself. We ate breakfast and enjoyed the offerings, simple with a little bit of everything. Thanks Holiday Inn!
Each time I stay at this property, I always have a good experience from check in to check out. Great customer service at the Front Desk. My room is always clean. If there is any issue, it is handled quickly and efficiently. Breakfast is always good. The bean-to-cup coffee is delicious. Nice added amenity You can’t beat the location from Van Dyke and I felt safe.

I stayed there for 7 days!! It was such a great place the rooms is super big and clean everything was clean and there was room service everyday around 11:30am. It smelled amazing there it was comfy place to stay for for Christmas time
The area near here didnt look the friendliest, but I felt safe at the hotel. The hotel breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly The room was well stocked, soap, shampoo etc, and the mini fridge was great to have. Quiet area, other guests were polite.
I attempted to reserve a room on 10/3. I believe the young man name was James and who answered the phone at 413a. I explained to him that we’re coming off the highway and asked if there were any rooms available for tonight. He said yes, but check out is at 12p. I said that is not a problem. Then he followed with I can get you checked in once you’re here. No need to reserve a room over the phone. We pull up to the hotel a little after 5am. Where we attempted to reserve a room. The same young man who told me we could just come in and book a room is now telling us that we cannot book a room for the night and check in is at 3pm. I explained to him that we just got off the phone with him and he proceeds to tell me that he hasn’t taken any calls for the past two hours. Even when I showed him the call log and number his response was “idk where 586 is at, but that’s not our phone number.” And refuses to allow us to book a room. I called the number while standing in front of him and watched him answer the phone. The look on his face was shook, because he was just caught in a bold face lie. We ended up going across the parking lot and booking a room there. But this is by far the worst experience we have had with a Holiday Inn, and we’re elite/diamond members.
